The schedule? Bama’s ooc was awful last year, but is supposed to be better this year I think. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if teams started dropping the big ooc games since there’s no benefit. Clemson and bama have shown that the committee will take you without any big name ooc games.

Thus why I said the exception.

It’s been bad since 2017, but the committee hasn’t seemed to care. A 1 loss SEC will get in regardless of their ooc schedule. UF has certainly noticed. When is the last time they played a ranked Ooc game outside of their state?

That Kentucky/Georgia game last year was hilarious. Like 50 total passing yards combined.

I didn’t get to see it. I don’t think I missed much. If I recall the Cats had a shot to be very much in it before a couple of bad plays somewhere near half. But that Georgia run defense last season was other worldly. Hell, that Georgia defense was other worldly.

Come on man, they were not THAT good.
LSU had 481 yards, 26 first downs and put up 37 points on that super best ever defense and could’ve put another 7-14 points on them if we wanted. We didn’t want any of our players to get injured so we let off the gas.
I don’t know what it is with all the Georgia is great nonsense. We played them two years in a row and smoked them both games. Georgia would do no better than aTm if they played in the west.

Lsus offense being the best of all time doesn't negate how good our defense was. We gave up 2 rushing TDs all year ffs

LSU fans are so insecure you can't even let someone say how good another teams defense is without interjecting your own team into it

They were ok but not “otherworldly” by no means. They were a solid defense but they were not the 85 bears. I don’t think they were as good as the 2011 bama defense.
They were definitely a solid squad but “otherworldly “ they were not by any means.

Can you not see why that happened? If UGA’s offense could’ve done anything that game then LSU wouldn’t have scored that much. Didn’t LSU have like 3 touchdowns through 3 quarters? Eventually the defense got gassed.

they gave up 275 ypg, 74 rush ypg, and 12ppg. This is while playing in the sec and facing the best offense of all time.

Some other non uga fan said otherworldly, but they were absolutely better than "ok" and "solid". They were an elite defense

Also, while that 11 bama defense was the best we've probably seen in our lifetimes, they were going against who..chris relf, Tyler Bray, Jordan Jefferson, john Brantley? Their stats are all world but it helps when you don't face a single elite qb all year

I will give my left nut if Georgia and UK both finish in the top 3 offenses in the SEC this season.

The greatest offense of all time, for starters.

-mega super offensive genius Mullen and the next big QB Trask
-mega offensive genius and supposed stud bo nix (that beat bama btw)
-mega offensive genius Brian Kelly and Ian book
-preseason media posterboy Kellen mond

Then a bunch of scrubs. Top to bottom the QBs and offenses we faced in 2019 blow away the QBs/offenses bama faced in 11. And that's not to say they weren't a good defense by any means. Just saying they didn't face a murderers row. That defense against 2019 lsu would drop their total numbers for certain

After LSU (who did whatever they wanted vs Georgia), there is no difference whatsoever between the two groups.

Lol. Yeah, take away the best offense ever and the argument is different. Unfortunately we did have to play them. So bama faced Brantley, Bray, and Tyler Wallace and we faced burrow, trask, and nix. I'd say our qb opponents were far tougher.

You’d be wrong as per. Not sure who this Tyler Wallace fella was but guarantee he was better than Bo Nix.

Bray is the 2nd best QB behind Burrow so you’d be spot off yet again

Sorry all the Chris's and Tyler's bama faced ran together.

Who do you think is tougher, burrow and whoever would be 2nd among Trask/mond/book/nix...or Bray and either John Brantley or Tyler Wallace?

I can assure you any dc with functioning brain cells woukd rather face the group that doesn't include burrow
