Once again - GA fans believe the best, again. 40 years of the delusional train.

Been telling you guys, if Terry is back healthy and can knock the rust off, it's going to be a special season in Lexington.

As you point out, it’s based on rankings of returning players and it is an elite o-line. In finishing with the most rushing yards per attempt in the nation, the Cats got almost a yard more per rushing attempt than the next closest conference team and did so with virtually no passing game (or quarterback for that matter) for most of the season. Lynn Bowden was an exceptional player as was Snell the year prior but the running game ain’t going anywhere. Especially with the return of a scrambling qb.
Having said that, if you had no context for the rankings and saw a ppg ranking in the 70’s, it would seem odd.
Fun Facts: over the last six games including a bowl win, UK averaged 385 rushing yards. Over the last three regular season games the Wildcats racked up 460 rushing yards per matchup.

At least I know UGA can beat a ranked team in the regular season.

Fair point, but I think the point that thUGA fans fail to grasp is “to what end?”
That’s the point. 1980.

Nice straw man. At least UGA beat ranked teams in the regular season last year.

As others have said, if Terry Wilson is healthy they could have another big year with what is also returning on defense (will be very good). The returning OLine is fantastic and should make some huge holes for Rose and Co. given their experience last season with Bowden.

Those are impressive numbers. That offense was as one dimensional as it gets in this day and age, and it still produced.
That offensive line deserves the recognition no doubt.

That Kentucky/Georgia game last year was hilarious. Like 50 total passing yards combined.

That was a monsoon game for sure.

Was that bama’s last ranked win? Hopefully UGA can get to the point where they’re placed in the playoff without winning their conference.

Michigan, our last game.
1 ranked win in an entire season is certainly impressive. Honestly it’s more surprising that bama’s schedule only had 2 ranked teams on it. At least Bama’s OOC is supposed to pick up this year.
