Well there was nowhere to go but up.
On a side note, I wanted to point out that I also believe Kentucky returns quite a bit and they are pretty excited for 2020. Carolina had a bunch of injuries in 2019 and I expect a better year from them. Vandy should also win more games in 2020. Then there is Auburn. Always a wild card, you never know what they will bring, but they could compete for the West with an QB who has made the leap from freshman to sophomore.
Lots of reasons for every team to be excited this season.

Alabama didn't win so they want revenge
Shouldn't that cringey revenge shite apply to every other team except LSU as well?

10. Florida - Should be higher for any rational fan. You have a good coach and you should be able to do some damage this year. You probably aren't ever going to the playoff with Mullen and you just need to accept that.
9. Tennessee - Fair ranking. Things are trending upward, but that's not saying much coming from rock bottom. They may still find a way to Tennessee this season up and losing to Vanderbilt is, yet again, a real possibility.
8. Mizzou - Do they even still have football fans/
7. Arkansas - Should be higher. New coach always brings excitement (unless you make a bad hire like Jimbo or Fatt)
6. Ole Miss - Should be one or two lower. Lane may well be an upgrade, but there is some risk factor with the hire and they could very well have a disaster of a season.
5. Mississippi State - Should be higher. Fans are excited about the coach and expectations are very much tempered for his first season. An 8 win regular season would probably have us over the moon.
4. Georgia - Fans are delusional so they should honestly probably be number 1. We all know they ain't getting it done, but their fans think otherwise.
3. A&M - Should be at the bottom. Probably looking at a 7-8 win season tops.
2. Bama - Should be lower . I think Bama fans are pretty calm even though their team has the highest shot at winning a national championship just due to who they are.
1. LSU - 2 or 3 is fair but they should be behind Georgia in any case. They may be giddy about this past season, but as far as 2020 season goes I think a lot of their fans know deep down that O may very well never win another championship. That's why their fans are still all over this board lashing out at Alabama despite LSU having a record-breaking season. Sad really.

It's sad that we can actually back up our shite talking now?
Posted on 2/12/20 at 5:34 pm to philly444
It's not the shite talking. It's the obsessiveness over everything to do with the University of Alabama.
shite talking them for losing to you or not winning the championship is one thing.
Getting butthurt because an idiotic analyst claimed Tua would do better in the draft is sad.
Making a thread about a depth-chart QB transferring is sad.
It's a daily routine for some of the posters here.

Don't overhype the hire!
People did that with Mhead and it went terribly.
We will have an interesting season at least, but I think there is still some risk in the hire.

I'm not concerned with results as much as I am from a brand perspective. We made a hire I didn't think we'd make in a million years. Leach immediately boosts the Mississippi State brand. When your program only averages 7-8 wins, I want to do it in style while everyone is watching.

I got the joke. The joke was that you left off Vandy and SC.
It just wasn't a very good joke.

Who else is formidable enough for us to give any attention to? Miss St? Yeah right
I also don't think it's sad to think a QB who just had the best season ever is better than another QB that he also beat head to head.
