You're right is the sad part. Both teams have young legend in the making QBs that will be there for a couple more years.

Does anyone outside of Clemson/Alabama fans really care about tonight?
I have a prior engagement so I will only catch the tail end of the game. Though bowl season was pretty good, the playoffs really haven’t been. Two really non-competitive games. The championship should be competitive at least. But I don’t really care about the outcome.

I don't care for either team and only hope one team gets absolutely thrashed to take them down a peg. That would be the only good I could glean from tonight's game. I think it will probably be a good game though.

Everyone crying about a lack of interest will be watching tonight, if for no other reason than they hate Alabama and want them to lose. If there was truly no interest they wouldn't watch at all, but they will.

I do, but only because Trevor Lawrence's parents were friends of mine as undergrads. I'd like for him to have a good game, regardless of outcome.

The country is not going to care very much. That has pretty much been established.
But that is nothing against Saban and Dabo. They are doing their jobs and one of them gets to put a national championship trophy in the case. But the rest of the country will have to take their word for it

The only teams with a legit shot at beating Bama, Clemson, and maybe UGA (moving fwd based on roster) are Bama, clemson, and UGA.
