Alleva had an entire season to find a replacement and he hired O

After Alleva put on a clinic on how NOT to fire the school's best coach it would have been hard to bring in a big name even if they had conducted an actual search. Who would want to work for such incompetence?

PJ Fleck would have been a better hire than O and he would have gladly come here. But yeah Alleva absolutely needs to be fired.

Herman's actual on field results at Houston look a lot like Miles' at LSU. He won a lot of big games, but also inexplicably lost a lot of games to far lesser opponents. I'm betting that trend continues at Texas.

Except miles didn't get blown out by smu and San Diego st, nor did he lose to navy and memphis. All of those happened in the same season btw. Herman has already lost to a sub-par Maryland team at home this season. Yes, the same Maryland that just got blown out at home 38-10 by ucf for God's sake. Oklahoma, okla state, tcu, and kansas state are all going to beat texas if I had to bet.

Is losing to the cow bells any worse than getting drove on your home field by Maryland?

Yes. Maryland would beat Moo State.

O ain't even the guy I want building my sandwich. I like O. I think he's a cool dude. I just don't think he can be a HC of a major school.

Ok? Since when is losing AT GEORGIA 31-3, who looks to be a damn good team this year, the same as losing AT HOME TO UCF 38-10? I would love to get your explanation on this. Georgia would kick the shite out of ucf. I know, transitive property blah, blah, blah, but everybody knows that georgia is a much better team than ucf this year and miss state would beat Maryland too.

Herman has made a difference at UT already in just 4 games. They're playing real defense now and gave USC hell in the Rose Bowl.

That was a great night and Herman does have Texas playing very well. It was at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum though.

Well I'm not ignorant and you'd better wait and see how he navigates the gauntlet he's about to run before you crown his arse. He was just in a 4 quarter game with Iowa State.
So, he's supposed to clean up Strong's shite show in just 4 games, huh?

Almost upset #4 USC last week.

Mensa.

Scared poor little Snow Peas Alleva into a full retreat with his tail tucked between his legs.

It was IOWA STATE. One performance against a JV team does not a career make.

Just hearing the man speak shows how smart he really is. Very good in pressers and extremely coherent. Meanwhile, I honestly need a TelePrompTer to understand Orgeron.

But 0 is one of you. That trumps all other football skills.

You guys made the right choice.

Yep, powerhouse Iowa State in front of 51,000 fans

What is Iowa States conference record over the last 5 years in the weakest conference in football you ask?

8-47

Powerhouse I tell you, powerhouse

USC doesn't play at the rose bowl. They play at the Colloseum.

Herman is a proven winner in the same sense that Butch Jones and Bert are proven winners. They won somewhere else and aren't gonna do it in their new conference.

They beat Iowa State. That's like beating Mizzou or Vandy and claiming some great "we are back" moment.

I wish I had 2 downvotes to give, because this OP is hot garbage.
