Tom Brady sent texts to Mathieu after the game apologizing for how he was acting

Brady apologized to Mathieu for losing his composure in the heat of the moment, of which Mathieu said, "I've never really seen that side of him."
During the game, Brady and Mathieu sparred multiple times. At one point, Brady even chased him down and got in his face.
Brady called Mathieu the "ultimate competitor" in his apology text and said he knew he needed to match Mathieu's intensity Sunday.
Brady told Mathieu he'd watched him since his days at LSU, and he praised Mathieu for his heart, calling him an "incredible leader, champion and class act."
Brady also expressed his desire to apologize in person in the future. “

Don't know why people are all up in their feels about this. Two competitors going at it. It didn't look good for either of them but when you are playing at that type of environment then some frustrations are going to show.
Both of these guys are good guys but people will make it more than it should.

It's why all the morons on this board blasting him have no clue what was said or not said.
Looked to me like both were going after each other and to blame one over the other is typical of this board depending on who one of them played for!

It's crazy that Brady chased Mathieu across the field and Mathieu is the one who got flagged. Just another example of how awful and one-sided the officiating was last night.

We don't know that Brady started it and it doesn't really matter. The officials should have thrown flags on both of them or neither of them. Instead they decided to throw a flag on one guy.
