It's terrible.

But are you surprised? Decades of fairweather fans, sidewalk alumni, Walmart enthusiasts, cousin frickers: it's no wonder this pitiful, "rivalry" is a nothingburger.

Add to it that Auburn goes through coaches like they go through mascots (at least old miss was forced into it) and Bama is a room temp IQ fanbase, and it's just pitiful.

The Iron Bowl is as interesting as water flavored jello - just like their genetic diversity:

This Alabama team sucks arse, but we have some issues that are pretty well documented. Game depends on if Alabama shits themselves under pressure and the offense goes off the rails like it has a few times this year. If not, there will be a lot of open receivers downfield for Alabama.

31-17 Auburn.

We've had far fewer coaches than UM in the modern era, and more hardware to show for it.

You're not wrong. Plus, ole miss is inherently racist. Just look at their name.

And they're co-western Division champs of 03'

Yikes.

Embarrassing.

It's because Auburn has struggled this year so they're pretending like they are above it all.

If they win Saturday-and I think they have a good chance to since it's in JHS and Bama has a regressing offense, bad special teams and possibly a distracted coach-then they'll deign to shitpost about it. If not, maybe they can manage to take a moral victory away from it like when they thought they killed Mark Ingram's Heisman chances.
