The current UGA OC was the assistant here that stopped Less Miles from calling a timeout after an interception (!) in a 30-27 loss to Tennessee in 2005. One of the signature moments of the Elmer Fudd era. He's come a long way from being that fool's caregiver

2005---You think he may have learned from that mistake? You know, that's what we normally do. Life is trial and Error.

Sounds like he knows the timing rules of football better than Les. That's a plus in his column I guess.

We won’t play you this year, so not sure why you’re scared. We will get Bama twice though

op wasn't shitting on Monken, he brought up a classic les miles moment. Monken wasn't the one calling the timeout.

Yep, imagine having to be Miles' caregiver on the sideline

I don't understand why LSU fans shat on Les Miles so much. He won a NC and had an excellent overall record.

Smart literally has a staffer that has the job of holding onto Smart's belt like he is a rabid dog and keep him from getting penalty's. I mean Miles assistants that are solely there to keep him from doing dumb unnecessary stuff aren't much different than kirby's handler in my opinion. Also why the hell are goergia fans even mad about this? You realize he's calling out Miles for being a dumbass, not monken for stopping it right?

He "won" the only two loss NC ever. LSU had more players drafted than Bama in his 11 years yet we weren't even a close second to them most of the time bc he was Clue-Les and couldn't count or perform basic math, insisting on running 1970s big ten offense is why we couldn't recruit QBs until recently, etc

I agree. Less Miles won a championship and had an excellent record. Even though he was quirky, he had to be doing something right.

Furthermore. I watched that play in disbelief.
I thought it was just a lapse in time management.

It was actually the first of many.

The clock stops after an interception. Maybe Les had never noticed that.
