I don't really hate anything ... it's all just bait.

Honestly, I've always sort of been a closet A&M fan since I have family who are A&M fans living in Texas, a cousin in particular who is more like a brother to me than a cousin. And I have a business partner living in Katy who is both an A&M fan and a Texan's fan, which I am as well. McNair is like me, half Gamecock, half Texan. I've got another cousin who works for The McNair Group and her Dad and Uncle worked for Cogen Tech. I own property in El Paso ... well, more Las Cruces/White Sands but El Paso is more recognizable for friends around here, and I listen to Marty Robbins music all the time. (My cousin still owns the ranch, over near Carlsbad, that belonged to my Grandpappy and his Sons and Daughters, one of which is my Mom. That side of my family goes back to 1841 Texas, which is probably farther back than yours.)

I bust A&M balls, these days, because I never expected some of y'all, (notice I typed "some of y'all), to be such total dicks in your first year always talking shite about taking-over the SEC. I was, and am, one of the biggest advocates out there for having A&M in the league. I always told everyone, who shite on the idea, that A&M was a perfect fit for the SEC ... and I still believe that with all my heart. I love having all my A&M family members in the league now - it's got us texting and emailing about upcoming games, talking about football, etc., and I'll be at every game we play out there until the day I die. But sheesh, some of y'all just talk too much shite for it to be comfortable. It's obnoxious even, at times. You gotta pay your dues first and those days are coming. And the worst part is I always defended y'all against the horn fans that came around claiming y'all were unbearably obnoxious ... but some of y'all are proving them correct and I wish you wouldn't. I wish y'all would just have fun with it and make the most of it rather than the constant JFF, superior recruiting, hall of fame coach, best fans, biggest facilities, crapola that some of y'all spew 24/7. You're turning the whole league against you before you're really even out of the gate ... and that would be a shame. ThirdSpur is your saving grace.

Anyways, you made me write a book - serves you right.

I want you to have to pay your dues just like we Gamecocks did, like Arkansas did, like Mizzou is having to - otherwise you'll never truly appreciate what the SEC is all about because things that come to easily can never be truly appreciated and this league and her fans should be truly appreciated for what we are ... a religion, the best in the country at what we endeavor to do. Y'all work too hard at making yourselves the outsiders. Win something for the sake of the league as much as for yourselves and your program - then you'll feel it - most SEC fans, not all mind you but most, feel that way. We're the last true pure Americans remaining because we actually do have a common goal that benefits our personal programs' goals like no other group of fans in the country remaining today. And, for most of us, it goes way back in our psyche ... you're either a charter member or a member who always wanted to be a member and then, one day, the Good Lord smiled on you and you became a member. It's the most elite club of college fans in the country and something to be reveled-in, a source of great pride on whatever level one might choose.

Also, I think most of our obnoxiousness is in direct response to trolls on here who start talking shite about A&M.
