Thank you for starting this thread.

I love Mizzou and A&M Appreciation Day! It's a good day when poor southerners thank the yanks and texans for padding their pockets. Without us this dilapidated conference would forever sit in the B1G's shadow...

Thanks Mizzou and A&M!

I truly believe you're retarded. Go get your Porker girlfriend and post the weather maps. I know you have them only a click away...

The SEC - Thank you Mizzou and A&M for bailing us out! We thought we'd forever be poor...

The new Vandy of the SEC, except Vandy is actually competitive in some sports.

Since when is Georgia a powerhouse at anything. In over a hundred years of competition you have one national title in baseball and one in football. Which is more than we have, but far less than other SEC schools. Judge not less you be judged.

Great, thanks for the TV sets, now feel free to contribute to the conference in some other meaningful way, you know when you get time.

Track and Field isn't considered contributing. You're on Mizzou's level.

False, if you mean the SEC Network would have happened without expansion.

ESPN's last deal with the SEC was setup to prevent a conference network. Without expansion there was no way to trigger a "look in" the contract and force ESPN to actually make a network.

Key words here, so get on your knees and kiss Slive's ring and be thankful we allowed you to join aggys and Mizzou, you are getting things all twisted, we could have had anyone we wanted, we only wanted your TV sets.

We have titles in sports that people actually give a shite about.

You mean you've accepted made up titles in a sport that people watch and is considered an exhibition only sport by the NCAA.

I was wondering what typical Bama response I was going to get, I thought for sure it would be "21-0", instead you went with "No Football, No care" nice

Well at least we know that people are watching us, aren't we. Exactly how many non-piggy fans actually tuned in to ESPN to watch some grown men run in circles? Unless it's the Olympics, no one gives a flying frick about track.

Since when are football and baseball the only sports?

We have national titles in 9 different sports, and 39 total. I think that's far more than most other SEC schools. I don't even think Florida has that many across all sports.

We screwed up the SEC by letting two outsiders (Texas A&M and Missouri) in the SEC for the sake of money.

I will be happy to thank Slive for fricking up the previous ESPN contract to make it so expansion was necessary to keep up with the B1G and PAC.

Like UNC? Nope, they turned the SEC down and signed a GOR.

Like OU? Or Texas? Nope, they both turned the SEC down and signed a GOR.

Face it: if it wasn't for A&M's inferiority complex and brand mismanagement then the SEC would be locked in as the fourth-best paid conference for over a decade.
