Actually no you are wrong Utah has a lot of latter day saints difference is it's the public university byu is private and hard as heck to get in

There are plenty of Mormons in SLC and a good number attend Utah.
BYU is more heavily religious than Utah however.

Upvoted just for Utah beating USC being funny/awesome, but this was USC's 2nd loss.
It won't matter to Georgia if LSU beats them tomorrow, other than a change in the playoff rankings from #1 seed, to probably #3 seed. But I'm sure it would matter to LSU fans.
So when people say they don't matter, they are more likely talking about in terms of playoffs in some circumstances. And it's usually in reference to expanding to 12 teams. Because if it was expanded to 12 teams, then USC losing to Utah would not matter.
