SEC LOSSES VS. PAC 10
2000 Bama Record: 3-8, Lost to Southern Miss by 21
2001 Bama Record: 7-5
2002 MSU Record: 3-9
2002 Auburn Record: 8-4 plus bowl win so 9-4
2003 MSU Record: 2-10
2003 Auburn: 7-5 plus bowl win so 8-5
I tried looking for this on google and all I could find was "*". 2005 Arkansas Record: 4-7
2006 Arkansas Record: 10-4 Lost SECCG and bowl game.
2007 Tennessee Record: 10-4 Lost SECCG, Won bowl game.
2008 Tennessee Record: 5-7 also lost wyoming.
2009 Tennessee Record: 7-5 bowl loss so actually 7-6
2010 Tennessee Record: 6-6 Lost bowl game to UNC in OT so actual record was 6-7

Of the teams that lost
6 Had losing records
2 Lost their bowl game
2 Lost the SECCG
0 Won the SECCG

Since 1950: 6 sec teams have won 19 national titles. 5 teams have two or more. 3 Pac 10 Teams have 8 titles (not counting USC's tainted 04 title). Only USC has more than one. Why do you ignore this stat that says we've been better since at least 1950? (BTW, bama's been kicking yalls arse since the 20's).

Actually you dont see me debating any of your other stats or other posters titles. All I did was simply paste the head to head records for the modern BCS Football era between the SEC and PAC. That is all I did. You all can go off about whatever you like, but that's all I did, paste some recent actual on the field settled results. Rankings are via humans, via bias and votes. On the field is where the game is settled. And it does seem this last Century the SEC has lost more to the PAC. Its ok. Your life will not end knowing that fact. But I just want you to know that fact. And maybe next time some of you Rantards might pause for a second before calling the PAC just a Pathetic Conference. Why is because that "pathetic Conference" sure knows how to woop SEC's arse when they meet off this past Century.

If you ask me. I personally think the SEC is a little better. But in the only time a PAC or SEC team has ever faced for a BCS title. It all was tied and came down to a game winning field goal as time expired. I say the margin between the PAC and SEC is that close to each other. Oh, and they both also went 500 in their bowl games. But you all know, if that rare fluke play did not happen in last years title game where everyone thought the guy was down, UO might of won that game. If so, that would of been 75% win total in bowls for the PAC and won 3 but lost 5 for the SEC. And the national perception of who is better between us would of shifted.

Neat thing that we do have another way to tell perhaps coming up soon. LSU vs Oregon. If Oregon runs all over that SEC stellar caliber Defense, well, that just might say a lot. And if UGA loses to BSU and OleMiss also lose to BYU, 3 teams from the Mountain West area of our Country not known for Football per say beat 3 SEC teams. Surly the SEC will look very, VERY weak. And yes people might be saying the "mighty SEC" is surly down this season:)

Brah..the reason it was significant was that it put LSU as the number one team in the AP poll.. the same poll that gave the douches from USC their "title" in '03. It was significant for us not because they lost to an inferior school. The same school thats on top on the PAC10/12 right now...and why would that be....because it doesn't take much to put together a couple of good years dominate the teams in that league...and why would that be you ask?....BECAUSE STANFORD DOESNT PLAY ANYBODY AND NEITHER DOES OREGON...in fact the premiere game last year was that game. Compare the ranked teams LSU had to play against Oregons last year. Compare it this year and see what you come up with.

Yeah, it might be wise to accrue a few championships before you embark on such a lofty endeavor.

No FudgePac conference venue compares to SEC venues. Hell, the best venue in the FudgePac would be mediocre in every other BCS conference.

I really hope LSU UgandaPorks the Oregon fricks to the tune of 4-5 TDs.

So you're saying you wish you were in the South so you could watch real Football.

One does not have to live in the South to watch SEC football. I watch tons of SEC football and its good stuff. Not quite as exciting as stellar offenses blazing all over, but still, really good stuff to watch. I watch these in this order:
PAC-12
SEC
Big 12
WAC
MWC
Big Ten( is boring and like watching grass grow)
ACC(do not watch that all too often as I care less about the teams)
Big Least(dont really care for the teams so only watch a tiny bit)

That's because Football is won with defense.

Something you Pac 10 fricks don't understand.

weblinks for rankings of the "loudest" Stadiums

I'm sure I could find (quickly write) a website which cites Oregon as having the greatest number of homosexuals, per capita, north of Sacramento and link that. I can do that if you wish. Your choice.

Did the pac-10 have 4 teams make bowl games?

Yes Sir, that is correct. USC would of gone but could not because of sanctions. ASU had 6 wins but two were to D-2 schools because they got screwed over by a major school bailing on them at the very last min and they could only get this school to replace. Couple that with if you took out 1 Conference game, to match what the SEC plays, and gave them all a cupcake instead(just like the SEC) one would of seen 8 PAC teams who went bowling last year. Not bad for a 10 team Conference. A little better then your 12 Conference I would say. And if the SEC had half as hard as PAC's OOC schedules and went up to playing 9 Conference games/year you would of only had 5 SEC teams gone bowling last year.

Look at Miss ST's schedule this year and name me one remote of a challenge of a game they have to face this year. And then all they have to do is win 2 Conference games and they go bowling in the SEC. Yep, that's how the SEC does business. All except for LSU, who has balls, of course.

LSU played UNC and WVU last season. We play you and WVU in Morgantown this season.

Bama is playing a home-and-home with Penn State

UGA is playing Boise State

Seems a little more high profile than the cake walks you people have been setting up.

Your best on campus venue in the PAC 10 is Washington.

They play at a Pro Stadium. That shouldn't even count

Now you see why I posted. Educating Rantards. I know many guys from SEC land are in a bubble and do not have a clue what goes on outside their bubble. That is why I posted.

UW has their own stadium. It is called "Husky Stadium" ranter.

so let me get this straight they beat 4 teams last year that were D-1.... and yet you think they would have beat the major school they had scheduled? Sounds to me like that school dropped them to get a better SOS.

what i always find funny about this argument is that at the end of the year most of the time the SEC guys have a higher SOS while playing a cupcake.

They have 4 ranked opponents in their division alone.

actuallly oregon probably has some of the nicest stuff in the country. Their facilities as a whole would rival any in the SEC.
