Knee touching the ground and two feet in for a catch should be the same as the NFL.

In today’s game, is there any reason to be different?

I never liked the knee down without contact rule.

Don’t care about the knee rule either way

I like college’s catch rule. You have possession of the ball and a part of you is on the field. Should be a catch

need to change the forward progress rule in college to be like the one in the NFL. someone is gonna get hurt... like compound fracture bone sticking out of leg bad and they'll still be trying to push the person with the ball forward for 5 more seconds

No. Change the NFL rules if people need them to be the same.

These are college kids , most aren't as good as Nfl players, and most won't make it to the Nfl. Therefore slightly different rules. Not the two rules I'd worry about changing.

Give me coaches challenges on called/uncalled penalties anyday.

The advertising department at CBS is currently writing up this proposal and picking out what color to paint their beach houses.

I like the pro rules.

However, I do want the Pro pass interference rule being a spot foul in college. Too many bad refs.

The NFL doesn't know what a catch is anymore.

Requiring 2 feet is ridiculous. Possession in bounds should have nothing to do with 2 feet. That’s like saying basketball players must dunk with 2 hands or it doesn’t count. Just stupid.

I agree with this 100%.

A player having 1 foot in and possession doesnt make him possess that the ball any less than someone with two feet in.

So i think College/NFL should be 1 foot. But i also think they should both be Knee down with contact

Biggest rule change needs to be linemen blocking down field on RPO. 3 yards is too far. Needs to be 1 yard like the NFL.

Disagree. I prefer 1 foot in. In my mind that's still a catch and it creates more opportunities for great catches.

The biggest issue here is they are not consistent in this and when they blow the whistle. I know it can be subjective and individuals can see things different but some won’t blow that whistle until the fans come out on the field and start pushing.

IMO, one of the best rules changes in the NFL was moving the extra point LOS back to the 15 yard line. I'd be cool with that for college.

The pick play. Either allow it or call it from the up top. I can’t remember what game I was watching, not Alabama, but the pick was so bad that the announcers were flabbergasted. They couldn’t understand how the LJ didn’t see it.

I agree...

I guess my point was being consistent with the rules.

I still don’t understand what other parts of the body count for making a catch.

So what's your second rule change.

Mine is that a fumble that occurs in the field of play and goes out the back of the endzone and is not recovered returns to where the fumble was lost.
