Happy for MSU, but that last out should have been gone. It's a weird game....

It wasn't hit far enough... What's so weird about that?

Look at their ERAs. They don't have to hit much. They are in Omaha. They hit enough to get there.

Td Ameritrade plays to bitch ball? How about fielding the ball cleanly, play baseball like you're suppose to and bunt people over, or just get a timely hit.

Stop whining cause y'all lost and go out there and win. Both teams have to play in the same park with the same bats.

it plays to bitch baseball when we crush 3 balls that should leave the yard and only one goes out.

baseball shouldn't be retarded sacrifice bunting every single inning. Baseball isnt a homer a inning like it was in 97 but it isn't bunting every inning like west coast teams do. baseball should have a balance and it doesn't have that right now. its watered down boring bullshite for the most part when balls that are crushed aren't leaving the yard. The park would probably be ok if we didn't have a dead ball and dead bats. once the ball changes the game will actually be baseball instead of baby back bitch ball like dick suckers like ucla play with their gay arse trick plays like its a little league game

If they hold everyone they play to 1 run, Yes - absolutely.

I am rooting for Indiana and here is why. College baseball has long been an afterthought in that part of the country (Midwest and Northeast). If a large school from that region actually won it could generate some serious interest. With the creation of conference networks college baseball could potentially become another large revenue sport, likely only second to football. This would require a more national audience, hopefully something Indiana winning will create.

That's the point. Holding everyone to 1 run isn't going to happen, so do they hit enough to make up for it?

State: Another hot team but I think they may have gone as far as they can go.

- The SEC is not as dominant this year as most of us thought

When LSU plays MS State for the whole salami, you going to be looking really stupid.

He's kinda right though. Remember that time Arkansas started out with the #1 ranking?

Rice's closer blew 2 games- NC State is lucky to even be there.

State has yet to lose a game in the Supers or CWS- same with Indiana and UCLA- all 3 are playing better than NC State

If they stay in the winner's bracket and not play again until Friday while the other teams are burning arms, you never know how how their team BA improves against the weaker pitchers. If they drop to the loser's bracket then they are toast.

How can you be an SEC fan and not pull for State who has never really won anything on the National Stage? This is a very strange year in the tournament.

Btw #12 for State is CLUTCH

Pulling for ya guys!

I agree, I just think that when a ball is hit that well (it was hammered) it should be a freaking homerun. 90% of ballparrks, the Beavers walked off you guys. But kudos, Holder didn't hang it quite enough.

There aren't enough HR now, period, but especially at TDA.

It's weird that the game completely changes at the World Series because the HR is taken away, would you not agree?

eta: USC benefited from the small ball in 11, but I still think the bats need to be changed....it's getting ridiculous.

Yea I thought that was an odd analysis too....I think State makes the needed adjustments to their surroundings and to their competition. As much of a dickhead that Cohen is no one....absolutely no one....can say that he isn't an elite coach in the SEC at this point I think. I wish I could say the same for LSU and our adjustments.

I agree on the bats- they are terrible now. HR's are down 55% per game since the change was made. It's made the game boring as shite with people bunting in the 2nd and 3rd inning

With that said- the Oregon State guy needs to get in the damn weight room and quit bitching. The field plays the same for everybody
