I don't know much about these guys. What's their #2 starter look like and do they have a strong pen?

They are going to be in the final of this side of the bracket, of that I'm sure. Rodon is not going to lose on anything close to normal rest.

People have been saying this since the South Alabama win in Starkville.

He is impressive for sure, but Gray was no slouch either and that didn't stop LSU.

I guess the only way for us to get some respect is to beat a couple of Mlb teams. Why is every other team other brink of elimination or not getting the green light on winning the CWS. (Except State)#WEALLWEGOT #HAILSTATE

Indiana is a juggernaut that we can't possibly take down.

We lose tonight...18-3.

A lot of people here don't follow much baseball and give the baseball team the same level of respect as football. This is a top 3 baseball program in the SEC who's had the toughest road to Omaha.

Dude, have you seen those guys? They're really fricking scary with bats in their hands, and we're going to be lucky to keep them under 34 runs.

If LSU goes down, Indiana is going to have my rooting interests

As much as I hate to say this, I think LSU is done. The new park does not favor a team that hits for power and we just used our best starting pitcher. I think we beat UNC, but just too tough to come out of the losers bracket and win it all. I like MSU or Indiana to win it all.

They really need to move the fences in.

Even though we, USC, have adapted pretty well to the small ball era, it needs some tweaking.

Last year was so frustrating to watch LB Dantlzer hammer the ball against Arizona, only to be an easy deep out.

Happy for MSU, but that last out should have been gone. It's a weird game....

Aside from Katz, nobody on our team has really hit a lot of HRs. Yes, we crushed some balls yesterday that ended up long fly outs, but it isn't like we normally hit 4 HRs a game (which in a shorter park those would have been).

Nola pitched a good game. Katz got us the lead. The defense proceeded to their heads up their arse and give up 2 unearned runs on errors. If the defense doesn't frick off, LSU wins despite the bad luck with the deep fly outs.

Just because I don't think State can win it? Right. Check my earlier post about wanting an SEC team to win it but I thought UCLA would.

I'm not picking State because I think the SEC isn't as good this year as most of us thought and, if memory serves me correctly, the Hogs beat State in their series and Arkansas really wasn't that good of a team, especially when RS wasn't pitching.

I still hope an SEC team wins it but I just don't think that will happen. Make of it what you want.

Why does everyone seem to be dawging (pun intended) MSU and not LSU? Because y'all won and they're jealous? Or do people genuinely think that MSU really doesn't have much of a chance?

We're just lucky to be able to play on the same field as the baseball powerhouse that is Indiana University. Wes can't stop nervously vomiting and Frazier has already chewed off all his fingernails.

It is baseball. shite happens. Stony Brook beat LSU last year. Louisville knocked off Vanderbilt. Indiana knocked off FSU (at this point I'm not sure if knocking FSU baseball out of the post season counts as an accomplishment or if it is just old hat).

I'm not saying your assessment of the SEC's perceived strength is wrong, just that you argument of a single series against Arkansas is moot.
