No one said it stops all offenses

Some are elite enough to overcome it. Whether Tennessee is or not is yet to be seen

Show me which hits would’ve been homers at LNS? The only one that would’ve been today was Evan Russell’s hit. None from the UVA game. Overall just got beat by better pitchers.

There were several balls that died at the warning track that would have been homeruns in Lindsey Nelson. I can think of one hit to dead center, don't remember who, and another hit by Lipcius to deep left field. It's 15 feet shorter in left at Lindsey Nelson than it is at TDA and nearly 20 feet shorter to dead center.

2 today...1 in game 1 (it was a foot off the track in right field it would have been well out in Knoxville).

No. If your talking about the Spence or Ferguson (can’t remember) liner it wouldn’t have been close. So just the 1 today.

There was literally 1.

How long do you think 15 feet is? From the wall to the middle of CF??

There was one Texas caught at the start of the warning track in center. That is a homerun at Lindsey Nelson. The Lipcius ball was also cauhgt at the base of the warning track, also would be a home run at Lindsey Nelson. That's "literally" two warning track balls. Unless you think the warning track is 20 feet, both of those would have been homeruns in Knoxville. And that doesn't even take into account that the balls don't carry nearly as well in that stadium, never have.

Yep. That was the 1. And guess what? They’re still 0-2 with that homer.

Go rewatch the Lipcius fly ball hit to the opposite field in the 7th or 8th inning. Also caught on the warning track. It's only 320 to left in Lindsey Nelson. It's 335 in TDA

Texas would add 2-3 as well with shots to the warning track. It’s still a negative.

I don't recall Texas hitting any deep balls outside the one they actually hit over the wall.

Hard to tell....HRs are probably the biggest momentum building plays in baseball.

Maybe they did, but what does that even have to do with the point of this thread? When did it start to be about whether Tennesee would have won the game? I believe this thread was about homeruns in TDA as compared to Lindsey Nelson. Did you have to move the goalposts after you realized that there may have, in fact, been a couple balls that would have been homeruns in Knoxville when you said "Show me which hits would’ve been homers at LNS?" ...and then were shown?

You do realize that Disch-Falk is comparable to the size of TD Ameritrade right?

I don’t have to spell it out for you. They would’ve hit 1 homerun in LNS. That’s better than 0 I guess? Pitching was the difference.

Its ok to admit you're wrong. There were at least two balls I know were hit (I've already pointed them out for you) that would have been home runs in Lindsey Nelson. Period.

Yes, two home runs is better than zero. Two homeruns in a baseball game isn;t a small and insignificant number

Is literrally irrelevant to the point of this thread and the response to your post in this thread. No one has even implied Tennessee wins the game at a smaller field. Stop creating arguments to crawfish your way out of another
