This upcoming round of NCAA investigations/allegations is moronic.

Are there idiots that actually believe that the accused teams cheat their asses off but all the teams that consistently outplay them are clean?
The NCAA needs to either put their big boy pants on and conduct a sweeping review of the entirety of D1 basketball or get off the pot.
Punishing a handful of schools when the entire sport has been exposed is a completely nonsensical decision.

State has been pretty lucky lately, I'd back off wanting the NCAA to come down.

Memphis will be hit hard again.. ... NCAA OUT FOR BLOOD
The NCAA is coming after the Memphis men’s basketball program and Penny Hardaway, and it doesn’t matter that Tiger basketball fans have probably suffered enough at this point.
Because when NCAA announced Wednesday morning that an infractions case involving the University of Memphis became the first to be referred to the Independent Accountability Resolution Process, it could also be translated like this: You asked for a fight and now you’ve got one.

I know we have some dirt given where Howland's coached in the past.
I doubt we are as dirty as the big boys though.
I'm sorry you're upset that Perry didn't go to Arkansas.

Lol. You MFs and RP. I was meaning more so in football. I have never really been bothered by the RP thing.

No one wants to see how dirty it is.
Top players do go to Davidson Creighton Kansas Dayton etc because they like the campus.

Okay, well I'm really sorry I accused you of that then. I've seen other Arkansas fans get really upset.
I don't think football is as dirty as basketball. Some of these basketball programs would probably make Saban blush.
MSU also hasn't been good at football for the past few years, so I don't know what you're talking about. Our kickass defense players mostly came from Miss so nothing too suspicious there.

CBB has been dirty and corrupt for decades and no one wants to see the sleaze out in the open.

You're good and I understand that. I knew I should've put a :inb4: but didn't.

See, this is where I'll agree with you and your statement would mean basketball is more severe than football, and I was simply addressing football. I also understand most were Mississippi kids - very top of the crop. You guys did have great in State talent and got great players. Dont forget, State was at its strongest when OM was indeed cheating.
Just pointing out that starkville hasn't been clean, but like you said, who is?

If Duke isn't on the list, then I question how valid that list is.

Memphis goes from #30 class in 2018 to the #1 class in 2019. Of course the NCAA is going after them, especially after playing Wiseman. Memphis has zero commits for 2020

Bingo. How long are these other schools gonna allow Duke to get a pass before banding together and at least trying to do something about it. Similar to some kind of class action type thing. It's ridiculous. Put Kansas in that group as well but at least they've been notified of trouble. Admitting guilt doesn't matter as it's already presumed so go all in and bring it all out. Take down everyone involved and let it play out for 2-3 years. Would go right back to normal.

Pretty sure I read a while back that it’s much harder to investigate a school like Duke due to it being a private school. Not saying it’s impossible but it’s easier to get away with. Not sure all the details but it’s worth mentioning

and get an elite education
You can get that in one/two years? Well, I guess my perception of the scholarly aptitudes of Duke basketball players needs to be changed. This applies to other schools as well.

shite, if state cheats on football they're the worst at it. They have a long history of not being worth a shite...like ever. I know they're not clean, but I would be pissed as a state fan of they're cheating and still get the shitty results they do on the field. They suck.

Everyone knows 90% of these players don’t go for the education. If Duke is such an exceptional school, how has it become so easy for basketball players in high school to just skip their senior year and reclassify and still get into Duke?

Funny how Kansas might likely get burnt also for the Zion Williams deal but questions should and need to be asked towards the Duke basketball program also..hey, they all cheat...I know 1st hand that College basketball is corrupt as shite...it’s just a matter as to who pisses off somebody higher up and gets caught...just sayin’....
