Since Texas A&M joined the SEC, Texas has played/ scheduled:
- Ole Miss (2012)
- Ole Miss (2013)
- Arkansas (2014)
- UCLA (2014)
- Notre Dame (2016)
- Notre Dame (2017)
- Missouri (2017)
- USC (2017)
- USC (2018)
- Georgia (2018)
- LSU (2019)
- LSU (2020)
- Arkansas (2021)
- Alabama (2022)
- Alabama (2023)
- Michigan (2024)
- Ohio State (2025)
- Ohio State (2026)
- Michigan (2027)
- Georgia (2028)
- Georgia (2029)
- Florida (2030)
- Florida (2031)
- Arizona St (2032)
- Arizona St (2033)
By my count, that’s 14 games against SEC teams, and 25 against solid Power 5 teams. USC, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida. Throw in Clemson and you have the ultimate group of teams.
Literally half the SEC has scheduled games against them. Why not Aggie?
Props to Texas for having the big balls to schedule these tough teams. It’s unfortunate that Aggie refuses to renew the “rivalry”

I remember when UGA last played Texas. How humiliating!

But I bet you don’t remember the last time UGA played Clemson do you?

Texas clearly isn’t afraid to mix it up.
Meanwhile, Texas A&N was set to play:
- Abilene Christian
- North Texas
- Colorado
- Fresno State

All your points are irrelevant. Both sides could have cancelled the game. Kind of like how Aggie made sure they didn’t have to play Texas in a bowl game last year.

I remember UGA won. We won the year before. Then we won two NCs, and UGA choked one away. That about covers it.

Alamo Bowl gets 2nd pick out of the Big 12 schools after the CFP/New Years Six. Try again.

Did you know Georgia has an all time record against Clemson of 42-18? Did you know we have won 6 of the last 7?
Posted on 8/11/20 at 5:46 pm to diddlydawg7
And what has that done for your program?
Posted on 8/11/20 at 6:12 pm to El_Tigre94
Admittedly not much. But Clemson will always be our bitch.

Hopefully we get big enough balls to schedule some SEC teams too like Texas

Aggie is neither an SEC team nor a solid power 5 team, so I don't really see your point.

Could have been worse. We could have lost to them 66-3 at home like a certain school did.

I've just compiled a list of teams scared to play aggie

And A&M scheduled Clemson (one of the "quality losses" aggies have so much pride in) well before the Tigers were a title contender. What's your point?

Nope, try again. The "return game" was in 2011 when Texas went to the Rose Bowl, a stadium that has seen historic performances from both Texas and Texas A&M

Texas has to schedule as many quality out of conference teams as they can.
Fact: The Big 12 is shite conference with perennially weak teams across the board.
Fact: Texas has been a mid-tier program at best since the 1980s with the exception of 1 season ...and 1 other game (Ouch UGA!).
Give the Aggies shite all you want, but they’re in the SEC. When you’re a member of the SEC, you don’t have to go out of conference to compete against the nation’s top talent.
