I really hope he heals up and is ready. I want LSU to win, but have both teams at full strength. If so, it will be a great game.

So he’s going to have a second surgery? That’s not healthy for an NFL career is it? I mean shouldn’t the coaches advise him on these quick fix measures?

It probably does not hurt having world class rehab facilities at his disposal. It would be good to maybe have a few more days to heal, but I think they'll have him ready to go

This was not the same ankle, and is not a quick fix thing. It is a new revolutionary way to fix high ankle sprains, better than the old way of using screws.

Didn’t he have this surgery before the SEC Championship ship game last year?

No, after, the injury happened in the game.

It's the other ankle.

So he’s got rubber bands for ankles? That’s gonna hurt come draft evaluation.

I just want him healthy. He’s a great kid and I want him to be 100% for the LSU game. Watching burrow and tua go at it will be epic.

Being able to play and playing effectively is two different issues. We saw the same thing last year and that was 6 weeks after the same surgery.

I think both fan bases feel this way.

He didn't look like he was even limping once he got towards the locker room. Should be good to go.

Who wants him out?

I know I don’t. We would never hear the end of it if he was out of the game and we won. Bama fans would never acknowledge the loss and we’d have to hear about the “asterisk” beside the win all year long.

Screw that. We want to beat you at your healthiest and best.

A high ankle sprain is not really an ankle sprain. It effects you when you make cuts or try to plant a foot. Since it is his push off foot, it will effect his deep ball. He can strong arm the shorter passes. Against Clemson it effected his accuracy, but that was the other foot.

He has anthrax? Thought it was an ankle? I knew he was dead last night and they didn’t want to alarm the crowd

Seriously, if he had this procedure and it was successful as said, he will be back by the LSU game, probably at 70-80%
