This explains why everyone gives Dawg fan a hard time

I like most folks from Georgia. They are good people and the culture in most places outside of Atlanta is outstanding ... but ...
On this board, on sports radio in the South, in real life amongst Georgia fans ...
Muh ... we lost 2 games. (But both losses are to the two top SEC teams.)
We don't have a serviceable QB. (QB opted out due to Covid and let's face it, so far Kirby is not a good QB developer)
We suck. We don't deserve a bowl game. (2 losses and the world is ending?)
Forget that we haven't won a NC since 1980 but we should be dominating and winning NC's like Bama does.
You guys' capacity for self-pity and unrealistic expectations are surpassed by no one.

While cutting the cute anecdotes and platitudes, take each one of my points and try to refute them. I realize it comes across as insulting (I don't mean it to be) but show me where I'm wrong.

It's not that, just that Georgia fans act like their entitled to be mentioned amongst the best programs of all time and they just aren't!

Yeah, we definitely haven't heard a peep out of Bama fans on here when you were going through injuries. Not a peep. It's what every fan base does. No one does it more than any other fan base.

It's almost as bad as UGA fan who is not delusional and understands UGA is a good to great program but not exceptional. The potential is great but the results do not support the opinion of UGA football that many UGA fans have.
I will take issue with some of the points however...it is entirely acceptable for a fan to question a coach when things do not go as expected. One should hope the coach certainly looks for ways to get better. It would be a sad situation if a fan were OK with losing....kind of depletes the fanatic requirement of being a fan. And, no one cares if fans question a coach in this situation....it makes no difference. Now if that fan is also a financial supporter on the upper end of support, they may have some leverage, but for the average fan no one cares, as it should be.
I think most UGA fans are pretty level headed. Very few predict a perfect season in August. Expecting to be competitive in the SEC is not unreasonable....
