If they come to their senses and fire Sark and hire Dave Aranda.

Texas is going to be just fine once they start playing in the SEC.. A&M has landed a lot of Texas kids simply because they want to play in the SEC. When Texas is also playing in the best conference in the country I think it will help bring the program back to where it should be. Even though I am not a Texas fan, I believe that college football is better when Texas is relevant.

Texas can’t win in the Big 12 and you think they’ll be fine in the SEC???? Bahahahaaaaaaaaaa

Mizzou and A&M say hello

Wait, wait. Someone from Texas attempting to dickride Mizzou AND A&M?

Who are you trying to convince? Y'all start threads about us every damn day here. Whether it's worrying over the latest doom and gloom idiocy that aggy fed you, or the repeated daily affirmation threads where you assure yourselves that we'll be a total non-factor here and there's nothing to worry about, or Tennessee twisting themselves in knots constantly reminding everyone they're the real UT, it just goes on and on.
You can lie to yourself if you want, but the proof is in the pudding. Texas is living rent free in the SEC's collective brain pan 24/7.

No, he was pointing out that being shitty in the Big12 doesn't mean anything as it relates to our chances in the SEC, and he was using two former Big12 bottom feeders who enjoyed immediate success as examples.

Really, we just don't want or need you in our league. Hell, it's been bad enough with your big brothers at TAMU.

How do you define success? Neither has won the league or played in the CFP. You think winning the SEC East is a big deal?

Well, to quote some Tool lyrics, "what you want and what you need don't make a frick to me."

I define it as immediately posting better records in their first years in the SEC than they ever had for pretty much the entirety of their stay in the Big12.

Y'all talk endless shite about your superiority and this is your response? Well, yes I do think that, especially when that team mostly stunk on ice in the Big12 North, which was every bit as shitty as the SEC East has ever been.

No, that was a definite dickride attempt.

Missouri won the big 12 north multiple times. They actually had a losing record their first year in the SEC. That first A&M team actually smoked OU in the cotton bowl. That team likely would have won the big 12.

Texas rarely had a talent problem.

A&M and Texas have both landed their share of good Texas players and that has been good for being mediocre in the Big 12 and The SEC.
Why? Because players in Texas aren’t any better than anywhere else. Until people realize the narrative is false it will continue the same infinite circle: “good” recruiting, mediocre results, people being surprised. Why are people so stupid?

Players from in state who sign with Texas tend to get full of themselves due to the mentality that exists in the state of Texas and the University in particular.
For whatever reason it seems to make them seem less hungry and more willing to bask in the limelight of being a Texas football player.

That's one of my pet peeves among sports talk is "X sport is better when X team is relevant". I've personally enjoyed watching them trip on their dick the past decade or so, hope it continues.
