This seems like a completely legitimate point to me, and I have yet to hear anyone address the difference between the two situations other than Wade refusing to meet w/ AD on his attorney's suggestion.

The ESPN story was proven to be false. It was a huge deal - Schlabach was shamed pretty harshly for it and it basically gave Miller a stay of execution. It was proven false after Miller loudly screamed to everyone that he never did it. He told everyone, his admins, the media, etc. Wade refused to meet with the AD and gave a bland comment.
So yeah, if Wade changes tune and the story is proven false in the next 3 days then it is comparative to Sean Miller. As of now there is no correlation.
