This is the type of material that keeps people coming back to SEC Rant, no joke. I get so sick of the 70 and 80 year old geezers talking about the "good old days" of SEC Rant when people "discussed" football.

Screw all that. This is quality. This is inspired. This is the type of post that everyone loves reading.

If the old people want to talk football, let 'em go somewhere else.

These make up .001% of posters, but I love when those guys post a story. Football is a college sport that slowly grew into youth and professional ranks. There was nothing like college football, especially here in the south.

Years ago I visited a forum that was pretty good. Smaller in size than the rant, but the #1 rule was if you troll, it better be entertaining. It worked well.

Then the owner sold it and the new owner was a giant pussy who would just let the worst trolls go over and over. So I ended up leaving the forum over it, and started posting here more.

The obvious thought is why the frick would I come here, when the trolling is just as bad or worse. And yeah, the shite happens pretty bad here. But with the rant there is enough posters that the bad shite falls off pretty quickly. There are still a good bit of quality posts/trolls that are entertaining.

So basically, it could be worse and there is still plenty of decent content available.
