It isn't the same Auburn team. Not only did a lot of players not play include the QB, but they lost 2 key defensive players for targeting. And, still nearly won.
Seems like it should be a hollow victory for Houston, but they will take it.

It's too bad Alabama hasn't played since that Auburn game. I'm sure their next opponent would've been an absolute lock to win by at least a touchdown or so.

Actually, Bama took AU to multiple OTs.

That said, THIS AU team is not the one that played in the Iron Bowl in NOV. That is not how sports work.

Never bet against Auburn and the spread in a Jordan-Hare Iron Bowl.... and when they take Bama down the wire (as they almost always do), just throw it out of the record books because its always an outlier.
