This 2022 LSU v. Georgia Matchup Reminds Me of 2018

In 2018, all we heard was how good #2 Georgia was, how they had more five star talent, they were better on paper and that they would stomp LSU. Then low and behold they get throttled by an LSU team that on paper should have lost.
Now this year, hearing the exact same things as 2018. “Georgia is too talented” “Georgia can’t lose” “Muh five stars” “Muh Monken”. Georgia is LSU’s bitch until proven otherwise.

I hate that we have to play this game in Baton Rouge with Jim Chaney calling the plays.

I don't know anyone on the UGA side who's assuming that the SECCG is a mere formality.

Let's see what happens.

Glad it’s in Atlanta this time. We have a pretty good record of burning Atlanta down

I’m hoping that we can at least keep it competitive

Will LSU consider 10-4 a successful season?

Me too. You definitely didn’t do that in 2018 with all that five star “superior” talent

Impressive that Atlanta could be burned down and then still come back and be better than any other town or shithole city found in the Deep South.
Poverty arse states

Over/Under was 6.5 wins.
Picked bottom 2 in the West.
Still don’t have a full compliment of scholarship players.
Yes, 10 wins would be a successful season. Don’t be dumb.

We didn’t play Georgia in 2012
And this analogy is dumb

It’s a legitimate question. Expectations change as the season progresses. I would imagine you would be disappointed if you lost 2 of the next three regardless of how you thought the season would start.

And here we go. I mean, the Vols were number one, undefeated and less than a ten point underdog.
Best to wait until afterwards.

Forsyth and Oconee aren't Atlanta

I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the LSU vs Georgia games. It’s seriously one of my favorites. Win or lose I expect it to be a good game.
