Civil War veterans were still alive and there were no such thing as WWII veterans in the United States.

1939 was closer to the Civil War than 2023 is to World War II.

The Three Stooges were around a few years before A&M’s last national championship in any major sport.

The fact that A&M hasn’t won a national championship in any major sport since 1939 is bad enough. No need to exaggerate. I mean Joe Biden’s parents weren’t even married the last time A&M won a national championship in a major sport.

Yeah, I got lazy. Hell, there are likely three or four more inaccuracies on there. The po-boy was '29 not '39 and nylon should more accurately be nylon stockings. Then again, I could've included kidney dialysis, instant cameras, velco, disposable diapers, and credit cards.

For a team that you do not see as either a rival or a threat, you seem to spend significant time thinking about the Ags.

Drafting the OP took you more time than I spend thinking about LSU in the average month.
