Penalties. You never see a home run in baseball called back because of an illegal anything. Way too many penalties right now and many are ticky tack that ruin big plays.

Sure. Let's have the "grab facemask and hope the play ends in a touchdown so the penalty won't count" system in place.

There is a noticeable difference between college and the NFL though. NFL is ridiculous with the amount of penalties and it’s not just the refs’ fault.

What could ever happen for a HR to get called back?
Pretty simple, hit ball, ball goes over fence in between boundaries and it's good. It's 2 ppl, pitcher & batter.

It’s only going to get worse in both college and the pros now that sports betting is legal in other places besides Vegas.

Pine tar too far up the bat can flat out bring a HR back.
This ^ is what Jimbo should have done last night.

Discovery of a corked bat would do it.

My god, the falcons game on Thursday was terrible

It makes the NFL unwatchable. To see players busting their arse and going all out go all for naught because he bumped into a quarterback or a receiver is shameful. It’s not a game anymore. We just sit back and wait for the ref to nullify the players’ collective effort with the simple toss of the flag and the tedious and monotonous and self-righteous explanation afterwards (I know it’s not the refs fault; it starts at the top).
It’s just a matter of time before college follows suit. It’s on its way already.

I remember watching that when it happened.

I personally hate that PI places the ball at the spot of the penalty.
And their overtime rules. NFL sucks

Games are too long and have too many truck commercials
Posted on 9/9/18 at 3:39 pm to Auburn80
I hate that a few greedy assholes have over-commercialized it over the years to the point that it is a barely-watchable product today. 2+ hours of commercials and constant interruptions to the Wal-Mart Deal Saver Special Bowl sponsored by Chick-fil-a sponsored by Xanax.

NFL rules are a complete joke. The NFL isn't even football anymore. It's more like 7-on-7, only with 11 men.

George Brett pine tar.
Batter stepping out of batter's box while hitting the ball.
Corked bat.
I mean, it's not like football is the only sport with rules. I mean, baseball is slower than molasses with batters stepping out of the batters box, pitchers shaking off signs, etc.
ETA
PowHound beat me to Brett.
