Things Ed Ogeron is killing.

You know lsu really doesn't have alot to cling to in terms of a storied history or things they can really thump their chest about. So the few things they do have need to be protected but with coach emphysema, that's not happening.
I mean they've got the chinese bandits i supppose and billy canon, louisiana's second favorite convicted felon, the mudbug can't kill those things. But the more recent notions they've come to know and love are being suffocated by coach whiteboots.
Is "death valley at night" for instance still a thing? Not really. It's never a thing for the alabama crimson tide. It was barely a thing for syracuse and not a thing at all for troy. And considering how demoralizing the Moo U loss was, surely none of you believe lsu would've won that game had it been in tiger stadium. Right now, "death valley at night" is on a ventilator and you can thank captain pirogue for that.
What was it les miles said? "Death valley, where dreams come to die". Something like that. Welp, those days are over. If you're an opposing team, death valley is where dreams come true. If you're an lsu tiger, death valley is where you get flushed from the matrix and you're godsmacked with reality.
And then of course there's the dismantling of this "DBU" myth. Others claim it, not just LSU. OSU, UF and now interestingly enough, alabama are all dukin' it out for that distinction. LSU's sorta slipping away with all that.
Yawyaw can't recruit worth a shite (don't let this current class fool you, it'll fall to pieces) and he proved that in this last cycle when he lost a DB to alabama that was seemingly committed to lsu since birth. Also, he slow played mario goodrich to the point where he basically gave mudbug the finger and went elsewhere. Real recruiting wizard this guy.
Whiteboots is moving receivers that can't cut it at their recruited position to the secondary. Moving five star DB's to receiver (where is jacoby stevens by the way?). And the final insult of recruiting a grad transfer DB from stanford, a middling team out of the worst of the power five conferences.
And we're still calling this DBU? Nah.
Alabama now has a stronger claim to the whole "DBU" thing than lsu.
Systematic destruction of the lsu football program is what this is. Not only will whiteboots break the spirit of this fanbase but he has a pillow over the face of the few remaining things you can still cling to.
I'll close with this question and it's a fair one. If nick saban, the head football coach for the alabama crimson tide actually sat down and designed a headcoach for the lsu tigers, would he be much different than what you have now?

You remind me that Clemson winning that title really killed the Death Valley debate nationally.

Yawn. I'm glad you made an account two weeks ago to start posting threads about LSU.
LSU has fallen but not nearly as far as other SEC programs such as Tennessee and Florida.
List of active SEC coaches that have beat O at LSU:
Saban
Mullen
What? Like if he handpicked a bad coach for LSU?
Are yall afraid of a good coach going to LSU?

Lsu had a good coach and he was replaced with a known loser.

That good coach was so good that he's an actor now.
Try harder.
Try harder.

Actually, Clemson hurt LSU with the Peach Bowl victory.
At least Ed O is not killing NOLA hookers. Not yet anyways.
