From the Auburn board:

"Good evening. Now I’m not here to bash anybody or point fingers. But truth be told is there are mad people right now and not many positive vibes.

- Lot of things getting covered up. Joiner transferring didn’t come to a surprise to me. I’ve been saying he’s been inconsistent in practices and that limited his playing time. BUT MAR isn’t playing. He got praised all offseason and now all of a sudden he doesn’t know the plays. I won’t go in deep detail but that take for how you want. Something just not right.

- Fed up. Not giving up on this team just yet. But no leadership is being shown right now. I love auburn and always will but there just isn’t any integrity right now. Nobody pushing anyone. Just showing up for meetings and practices right now. No excitement. Nothing to look forward to.

- In all honestly. Saturday game will be closer than some think. For one, some starters will be out. Gus won’t say it. He does a good job covering things up lol. But hey, I feel like you guys deserve the truth about things. You pay for it and should receive it. So I do my best to give you guys everything that’s going on that I know of.

- Will Joiner be the last transfer? No. I won’t say other names. But I said long before a lot of guys were gonna transfer after last year but the Morris hire opted them to return.

- So far practice has been ok. Wouldn’t say a bad week so far but also not a good week. OL and DL has got to grow up or season gonna get ugly.

- Lastly. IM NOT CALLING FOR ANYONE TO BE FIRED. I’m just calling it how it is. People want change. Players won’t change . Alumini want change. Boosters want change. And that’s the truth.

- With that being said. There’s a lot going on at auburn football right now. I’m not the only person that will say this. Dark times right now. No knock to any of the mods on here because you all are good writers and I appreciate y’all. But I just feel like the board should know what’s really going on behind the scenes like I do. Gus doesn’t have a lot of supporters right now. With Covid going on, it will be tough I admit. But don’t think AU doesn’t have the funds to do whatever. They do.

War eagle everyone."

This man is on crack if he thinks Auburn will clean house for $20-$25M during a pandemic with no end in sight and huge revenue losses

Jesus Chad's hasn't even cleared a full year there and already it's the same mess. Gus must really have taught him everything he knows.

Ugh, just reading that brought back the drama of the last how many ever years it’s been going on, thank the Lord we have a fresh no real expectations at all year. I just don’t think I’d have it in me this year.

If I were a player at Auburn and Gus told me he was hiring Chad to run the offense, and I’d seen what he did at Arkansas, I’d have an issue with that. Not even trolling, I don’t see how any player could be excited about having a coach with his resume come into the program.

I don't care about Chad Morris one way or the other. It's just another body to stand there while Gus's gameplan bombs.

However, if you look at how our defense played against UGA, and how the Oline played, and think this is a Chad Morris problem you are very dumb.

I'm just looking at your passing/rushing numbers. They are worse than ours, and our offense has been pretty bad.

Defense however has been really good. This might be a 6-3 type of game Saturday with how bad our offenses are and how crappy the weather will be.

Well I, for one, have enough dislike for both Chad and Gus that either one that needs things blamed on them is fine with me. Seriously tho, I get sick of drama in sports- it’s supposed to be fun so good luck one way or the other.

Kirby makes another one bite the dust. What's his count up to now?

Refresh my memory. Wasn't part of the offensive transition to his gameplan an overly complicated play book and communication scheme? Took the kids a while to get it down with ever changing QB's?

I have the count at zero.

Saban is the big dog that crushes souls and provides asst-staff members an opportunity to call the shots.

UgA is an afterthought that has not even controlled the weaker DIV of the SEC (by far) over the last decade inspite of their talent advantage.

When it comes to coaches, Auburn fans are the most bipolar fanbase in the country … and that's coming from an LSU fan. They either want to fire them or make them the highest paid coach in the country. No in-between.

Basically. After 2 years, he kept telling reporters we had "30% of the offense installed"

He's a fraud.

If the tigers havent figured out how decvisive Chad is to the locker room yet I for one hope he gets to stay a while. Maybe your head coach in waiting perhaps?

Hell, Odom might have the Rosetta Stone this week, too. Just look at their scripted first quarter play tendencies from Arkansas under Chode and 2019 Auburn. They've not had much time to install a full offense that the returning kids need to know.

I hated Club Dub, but I'm willing to open it again for one night only this Saturday. That would be fun.

Close to 4 years.

This has nothing to do with Chad. All to do with the Auburn fanbase. Nobody likes to fire a head coach like the Auburn fanbase. And replace them with anyone they can find.

Same melt, every year. Gus is just the target now. It was Tubbs for a long time.

Nobody melts over a coach like Auburn fans.

Everything that guy said has been pretty standard in regards to the Auburn program for at least the past 5 years.
