There’s really no excuse for Florida to be this bad.

Even in a rebuilding year they should win 8-9 games. They literally have everything a program could ever need right in their backyard. They should be consistently competing for and winning natties. Their problem has always been coaching. The two great coaches they had won titles. They’ve struck out with so many bad coaching hires. Zook, Muschamp, yellow teeth, and now sunbelt Billy. Yikes Florida, get out of your own damn way….or not.

Have you seen our QB?

ETA: why do you want us to be good? You’ve got an easy path to the sec championship/playoff.

Yeah why did you recruit that guy when you have the entire state of Florida to play with.

Kirby won 7 games in the regular season in his first year. Saban won 6. Not saying Napier will replicate Kirby’s success but saying a coach sucks bc he sucks his first year is proof you’re clueless. You can’t un-do the previous coach’s bullshite, team cancer, and recruiting in 1 season.

That being said, Napier probably won’t be great here if I was gambling man. But my point stands.

Hard to recruit when your program has been run on the cheap for the last 20 years. They're finally getting their shite together in that regard, however.

True. But we saw flashes of what Kirby’s program could be in year one. Has Sunbelt shown you anything?

Little flashes. Still wouldn’t label him a dead man walking after his first year.

Florida's win over Utah was more impressive than anything Kirby did in his first season. We also lost to Vanderbilt just like Florida did this year. We got killed by Florida that year. We also almost lost to Nichols State as a 48 point favorite.

Kirby's first season sucked arse. I wasn't feeling good about ol Lord Bowl Cut. Thanks god I was wrong.

Not true. Defense played very well in spurts. Got a nice win over North Carolina. Nice win over Auburn. Tennessee loss and Georgia Tech loss were both flukes. That’s a ten win ball club with better breaks.

You’re a fricking joke with this analysis. UGA was uncompetitive vs Ole Miss in Kirby year 1. It was 31-0 at half. 45-0 in the middle of the 3rd. Ole miss could’ve hung 70 if they wanted to. Did the defense show flashes then? Lol. You are a dipshit.

^^^Not to mention we had to come back in the 4th quarter to beat Kentucky and had to pull a major horse shoe out of our arse to beat Missouri.

But OP has a more advanced football acumen and saw "glimpses" and "flashes."
