In all honesty how will football be played this fall? The conference only thing is a monumental shift in reaction to the current situation. As we get closer to the start of the season, whenever that is, if the situation is not stable many programs just ain't going to take the risk. I hope I am wrong because lord knows we need some normalcy in life but I am highly doubtful...

I heard the same thing, Sand Mountain. Bob from across the street told me that. He also said part of the fault was Saban pissing off half of Alabama. Guess Nick likes some democrat and that's killed the SEC games.
I think that's what he said.

They will not be allowed to steal the limelight from the Power of 5 conference!

We've seen UT fan sauces before, and they are never right.
With that said, it's quite possible to be true in this case.

I'm fine if they play, fine if they don't. I'm learning to enjoy other things besides sports.

Can someone please explain to me this “risk” I keep hearing about? Are they afraid everyone is just gonna drop dead? Because it hasn’t happened yet! Anywhere! So are they just scared to put players at risk of possibly catching a virus that will more than likely not even show symptoms? The players literally have a higher chance at dropping dead due to heat exhaustion instead of Covid!

If you hadn't heard most of the big time players and heir parents are DEMOCRATS! And the name of the game is recruiting so odds are heavy your coach is an announced DEMOCRAT! Gundy had the nerve to wear a shirt with a broadcast media name on it and lost huge salary and length of contract benefits and almost lost his job and may yet.
Discrimination is at an all time high. But tis the reverse of what you were always told. But I agree. It is highly unlikely there will be CFB this year and maybe none next year either. Which for me is fine, but that's just me.

Probably "enjoy" it better, because I wouldn't care who won or lost, I'd just be watching football. No anxiety at all.

And this is why they need too. Football in its current form takes 3+ hours of your day if you watch on TV and all of your day if you go in person. People are liking their Saturday’s and Sunday’s and learning they can survive without it.

Probably the same reason we haven't had any movies released direct to video, instead they're being held until theaters reopen.
People are going to come out of 2020 with extremely different social habits, which will greatly impact both the sports world, and the larger entertainment world. I think paydays in both fields are peaking now, and won't be replicated in the future.
