Exactly. At this point, not a ONE of those top 4 deserve to lose their spot or out of the CFP. It’s over, the games this weekend are for show and $$.

quote:
This is the playoff order
1- UGA (sec champ)
2 - Michigan (b10 champ)
3- TCU (b12 champ)
4- USC (p12 champ)
5- UGA* (12-1 sec runner up)
6- Michigan* (12-1 b10 runner up)
7- Ohio State& (11-1)
*UGA/Mich are guaranteed to be in one of these spots which would place them over Alabama.
& season over
Then you’d also have in no particular order:
Tennessee& (10-2, win over Gumps)
TCU * (12-1 b12 runner up)
Clemson (possible 11-2 ACC champion)
Comparing best wins ——— bama, osu, Tennessee, 1-loss TCU
Alabama best wins are over Texas and Mississippi State (lower top 25)
Ohio State’s best wins are over top ten Penn State and Notre Dame (lower top 25)
Tennessee’s best wins are over top ten Alabama and #11 LSU.
TCUs best wins over #13 KSU and Texas
Alabama ranks fourth of those four by a
substantial margin.
Comparing losses ——- Bama, OSU, Tennessee, 1-loss TCU
Alabama lost to top-ten Tennessee and #11 LSU. Consideration is due that both were on the road by one score.
Tennessee lost to #1 UGA and South Carolina.
Ohio State lost to #2 Michigan.
TCU’s potential loss to k state????
Giving Alabama the benefit of the doubt here with “margin of defeat” vs both and OSU losing at home, at best you make a case that Alabama comes out ahead here by a slim margin against those two. TCU wouldn’t seeming have to get blown out for Alabama to have “better losses”.
It’s nothing more that Gump entitlement and delusion for them to argue they belong in the playoff. They only reason they are in the discussion is because of the media’s fixation with them.
This is how you melt, baws. This melt was well thought out with hours of contemplation put in. Thank you, lsusa. I don't know who the hell you are, but you set the bar high.
