Not bad for a possession receiver, actually.

Yea. I think people understand Wease isn’t a speed guy. That’s an impressive number that’ll get him an NFL tryout.

Slightly above average for a NCAA player. Some hyperbole there. But wow, hooray, he's fast but not as fast as the Kansas QB, and a load of others.
College Football’s Fastest Players, courtesy of our friends at Reel Analytics, the fastest ball carriers are tracked from every game across the country.

College Footballs fastest players, Week 12

10) Cole Payton, QB, North Dakota State: 20.2 mph
9) Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa: 20.4 mph
8) Leyton Smithson, WR, Washington State: 21.0 mph
7) Ricky White, WR, UNLV: 21.2 mph
6) TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State: 21.6 mph
T4) Brenden Rice, WR, USC: 21.7 mph
T4) Javon Baker, WR, UCF: 21.7 mph
3) Jaylen Wright, RB, Tennessee: 22.2 mph
2) Nate Wiggins, DB, Clemson: 22.6 mph

1) Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas: 22.7 mph
The new fastest player in college football, Xavier Worthy reached a blazing 22.7 mph on his punt return touchdown that was sadly called back due to a penalty. Worthy maxed out while reaching the sidelines past the coverage unit and was a blur on the field with is speed.

That's cool, I guess. But, it's about like posting on a skill player's 4.5-second 40 time in today's game.

What is even more impressive than his speed is that Benson is listed at 6-foot-1 and 223 pounds. Plus, his longest play from scrimmage this season was also his fastest. Benson hit 22 mph flat during FSU's 39-17 win over Virginia Tech.

I'll get downvoted but his speed for his size is stupid
