No Florida - Georgia game would be complete without some serious fights, attacks or brutal beatings outside the stadium.
This game just brings out the worst of both fanbases in terms of brawls and bad behavior.
Keep it classy Dawg and Lizard people.

Been going to the game for almost 25 years and never seen a "brawl" and maybe 1 fight that lasted about 30 seconds.
Our tailgate lot is split 50/50 and there's nothing but good natured ribbing aND folks sharing food and drinks.

We spend the entire weekend with Florida fans each year and never had anything but a great time.
The only place I’ve ever seen a fight down there was at the Landing but that place is trashy anyway.

Why do LSU fans on this site believe that every large gathering of adults should necessarily involve physical altercation? They're like cavepeople.
I'm starting to get the picture; the LSU posters here are the Harley Davidson / Grand Isle vacationing / Mayonaise sandwich eating / MMA lovin' / SELA alum sect of the fanbase. Gauche to the core.

Has to be their upbringing and swamp culture.
Not all of them are that way though. I've been to a lot of games at Tigah Stadium and only witnessed a few incidents. I have one L8U relative that married in and they have season tickets. I've been to a few non-BAMA games there as well as B-Ball games.

Oh I'm acutely aware. My roommate throughout most of my time at Bama was a Baton Rouge guy. Had occasion to go down there constantly, have become good friends with many, many LSU people. All first-class. Always funny, extremely hospitable. The back and forth always good-natured.
But these are people with manners, and social standing, and perspective, and respect for their school's decorum. I'm not seeing many of these types populating this site.

I always go over to my buddy's house who is a Florida fan. Big TV, beer, food and good times. We always have the bet of loser has to wear the opposing team t-shirt at work. There is always ribbing and fun. There are bad fans of every school.

just like with many other things these days, the news and media will show the handful of fights outside and make it look like it's one big prison riot, but not mention the other 99.9% of fans that get along fine and have a great time. Like others have said our tailgate is split 50/50 with both fanbases and we all have a blast.

I’ve never seen any of these mythical fights and I’ve been going to the game since 2002 and haven’t missed one.
If any fight occurs, it’s more than likely a trashy jags fan disguised as a Florida or Georgia fan, or just a drunken idiot (doesn’t matter who you cheer for).
