Yep, the SEC used up its firing allotment last year.

Odom might get canned if we have a losing season

Auburn would have to have one heck of a collapse for Malzahn to be out after next season

I don't think LSU will fire O. Even with a bad season, it would make LSU look worse. They just promoted Ensminger with a new contract under O. Why would they give him a multi year deal if they knew changes are coming? Ed Orgeron is as cool as a cucumber (at the moment)

If the program regresses bad, yeah he'll get axed

L7U nor auburn can afford to fire their football coach. They both can go 0- for and are safe as a virgin in the auburn drunk tank.
And anyway we all know neither will lose many over the normal 4 or 5.

Yep, the bloodletting ended, at least for awhile, this past season.
It's doubtful we'll see anyone fired for a few years.
Saban ... nope. Not until he's ready to go.
Kirby ... nope. He's got another five years minimum.
Boom ... nope. Ditto above.
Mullen ... nope. New hire with SEC HC experience.
Jimbo ... nope. 10 yr guaranteed deal.
Morris ... nope. New hire.
Pruitt ... nope. New hire.
Stoops ... ummmm, he gets at least two more years provided he wins 7 games a year.
Odom ... probably the hottest seat of all but as long as he wins 7 or 8 games he's safe.
Gus ... who knows. Seems like he's got a couple more years minimum. Hard to tell with Auburn.
Ed O ... he's safe for at least two more years.
Mason ... his seat is getting warm.
Luke ... nope. New hire. Inherited a mess. He's got four years at least.
Moorehead ... nope. New hire.

Unless oil jumps to $500 a barrel I can guarantee Jimbo will be here next year and next year and next year and next year and next year et etc etc

Stoops at Big Blue goes down. Mike Leach returns to the Cats.

That is great for a fan to say, but are you guy really fine with the national perception of Auburn being, it is an unstable place that is likely to fire the coach for losing a few jey games. I know it is used against you on the recruiting trail

Hasn't hurt us in that department yet. Gus has recruited better than Chizik.
