is an epic failure in the HR department. We sure could have used his experience and skill.

Everyone has seen KT actually throw the ball, right? I really don’t understand this love affair for a guy that can’t hit the broad side of a barn.

Can't accuracy be coached?

Dumb take. KT left the team to enter the portal. You don't do that to your team and not pay for it. Stupid stupid take.

Garret Schrader has played damn well. He will be warrior for this team. He is the future and I like his heart and arm.

If you can’t name a starter in a QB competition without having the loser stomp off and throw a fit... then I question your ability to manage people. And isn’t that a crucial part of coaching young men?

I was impressed by Shrader. Nothing against him.

You taking a shot at Kirby or Saban here?

Must be Kirby. The only QB to recently leave Bama stayed after he lost the job, won a big game off the bench, earned his degree, and remains loved by all.

Well that's just cool.

Point is kids transfer all the time because they want to play. Shouldn't shite on them or the coach for that.

Right, but KT publicly toying with transferring shouldn’t forever banish him from the field. They should be on a level, HC to QB, where they can pursue their mutual interests in this situation. How did the relationship reach this point? One man is in his 40s and the other is a kid, so I know where I’d start lookin to assess blame.

The head coach brought in a transfer QB. He was essentially telling KT “you are not good enough”. I don’t blame the kid for being a little pissed and wanting to go elsewhere. We had QBs leave when Burrow was brought in. That’s just the way it is.

Manage? LOL! KT made a business decision and Moorhead is doing everything to HELP that kid land on his feet.

- Moorhead doesn't have to allow him to be on that team at all. But he is.

- Moorhead is not burning his RS so the kid can move on and have time to showcase himself.

It's neither MOORHEAD's fault NOR the fault of KT that he does not fit the new system. That's why the NCAA put the portal in.

Just a little. You're either a natural passer or you're not.

How can other people know more about your team than you?

-KT is transferring.
-Moorhead is allowing him to stay on the team to RS while he earns his degree. so he can play immediately upon transferring.

- That is a credit to Moorhead and the kid.

I think Coach is trying to help KT by not playing him in more than four games this year. Then he could transfer and be eligible immediately with two years left. At least if I understand the rules correctly in the present day.

The fact he did not play Saturday leads me to believe he is saving those opportunities for when we are playing SEC teams.

That is just my opinion though.

I was referring to going into a system where he can showcase himself.

KT will not see the field unless Shrader is injured.

Might as well get use to it.

no. Cannot take an inaccurate qb and make him accurate. You can only hone accuracy/inaccuracy within a small margin. It's like speed, can only hone it a little.

Moorhead needs to win. KT needs to play. Even if he’s redshirting, he has 4 games, and here was a prime opportunity to showcase yourself. Do you honestly not believe that his experience would be an asset against a salty K State defense? Do you believe a true freshman, who might be a great and I hope he is, gave us the best chance to win?

Moorhead led us to believe that it was neck and neck and that KT was actually leading the QB competition at points. Why can he not now start, given the changes in circumstance? Does he not want to play big time games? Does Moorhead not want to win? Or are panties wadded?

Moorhead is going to play the best person for his system and KT is not it.

The True Freshman had already passed Mayden in spring.

It doesn't matter what you think, it matters what he and his staff sees and the planning for the future.

KT is gone next year. Stevens is gone next year. That leaves a very young QB stable and there is no way that as a coach, you play KT and go green next year. Nobody wants to live or die by the Portal.
