Gus hasn’t been trending down in recruiting because I believe last years class may have been his best, but this year is one of the worst I’ve seen.

He's not wrong. Auburn for it's life wins 63% of its games but the fans think Gus, who won 66% of his games at AU, is borderline retarded.

The warped fantasy of Auburn is that in their minds, they should be on the level of Alabama. Competing for National Titles on a yearly basis.
Nothing could be more delusional or further from the truth. They always have been and always will be the little step-child in this state. Their singular reason for existing is to "Beat Bama", as the sign states in their media room.
They won't hire anyone of great quality. Stoops, Meyer, Kiffin, none of them are coming. Fantasies and delusions that are far removed from the real world.

Oh shut the frick up. That isn’t true at all.
Auburn is a top-15 program historically and we aren’t there right now.
