Chill bro lol! They've played just as many games in a new offense as we have. We do look alot more comfortable game by game though

Damn!

That's a long way from the Steve Spurrier days.

Damn. And i thought we've been consistently pitiful at offense the past decade or so. I mean we still have been but at least we've finished a lot better than 83rd a few times.

Yet they're scoring more per game than LSU

It's funny because that 116th ranked offense in 2016 beat you.

1. Our offense is not good so don’t misconstrue this as an attempt on my part to defend it.

2. Total offense is a shite stat that rarely tells the whole story about a team’s offense.

3. We currently rank 28th nationally in yards per play, a much more reliable stat. Marked improvement over the 104th ranking we had last year.

Mullen will recruit some giant that can run and will likely be dangerous when that happens because he knows how to call a good offense around those types of guys. Right now though, he is stuck with a shitty offense.

LSUs worst finish in the same time frame is still better than UFs rank this year

They were surprisingly significantly higher in a number of years (30s-50s range for a few years). LSU has always had great running games. It's the passing offense that has been putrid. I know UF has struggled recently, but I didn't realize their numbers for total offense were that low. Mind boggling when remembering Spurrier and Urban.

Maybe it was our passing yards I'm thinking about.

LSU had 30 passing yards in the SEC Championship in 2011. We beat UGA by 32
