Quite possibly the two worst teams in the FBS meet Saturday for all the shite marbles when The 1-3 Vanderbilt Commodores meet the 0-5 UCONN Huskies.
Even though Vandy is favored by 14, these are shockingly, shittasticaly close.

UCONN - 127th

There may not be a closer game all year. There are also no other teams with total rankings that bad in all of FBS. Fire up the plungers folks... This shitbowl is going to be overflowing.

What james franklin did at vandy was a true miracle.
his vandy teams, on paper, weren't any more talented than a typical derek mason vandy team, yet compare the results.

Vandy truly needs to be expelled from the SEC. They wouldnt even be able to be competitive against Sunbelt teams.
They keep their financials secret but they collect an equal share of money as all other members.

I pointed this out yesterday, and not just about football. Minus baseball, that athletic department is warmed over doo doo.
Mens Basketball is averaging 10 wins a season the last 3 years. Football is terrible. Womens basketball is horrible.
Do they just not care about athletics in Nashville any longer?

Name a private elitist, ivy league wannabe type of P5 school that really and truly cares about athletics besides Duke Basketball.
Stanford football? Maybe, but that program is not supported like top programs in the Big 10 or SEC. Not even close.
Vandy baseball?? They cheat, so they can get away with it. If the rest of the SEC had the scholarship advantages they had, the program would be mid - tier at best in the league.

Not sure about that. He was able to steal recruits from the midstate consistently that other SEC programs wanted during his time at Vandy. That was pretty rare with Mason.

Franklin had at least one recruiting class ranked around 21st. That's a greater accomishment than Alabama having the #1 class like 10 yrs in a row.

Vandy will win. Their numbers would be 20-30 places higher at least if you replace last weeks game with another team. Don’t misunderstand though these are both bottom 5 FBS teams.

At least Duke has been decent the last decade or so. The same can't be said for the others
