You can just tell it is going to be a cluster frick right from the start that inevitably ends with multiple couch fires. If their fans weren't so stupid, they would understand how arse-blasted they are going to get in a few months. I'm sincerely looking forward to the day the coaching search board gets opened up for business because that means the countdown to Tennessee's judgement day will have begun.

I hear Bill Dance is throwing big money around this time guys. It really sounds like the day after Saban pushes Butch's shite in one more time, you guys already have your replacements lined up. You've got Gruden as the head ball coach, Chip Kelly coming in to fix the offense, Jimmy Johnson running the defensive unit, and Harbaugh along with Peyton Manning as co-QB coaches.

SECeast fricked amirite guys

Gruden's name will be hot for a while until a curveball is thrown and a reporter with a source close to the program will break both news and hearts by announcing Tennessee is close to reaching an agreement with "insert underwhelming Mickey Mouse jackass here".

Gruden at Nocksville is an Alabama wet dream. It won’t happen. Ever.

Most of the people on this board weren't even born the last time Gruden coached at the college level. And where the rest of the world would look at that and question the fit or qualifications, Tennessee looks at that and says "fresh take."

Brady hoke will be named interim, do well because tenn's 2nd half schedule if soft, and will be offered the job.

You may be very surprised, I understand where you are coming from, but I'd tap the breaks a bit on this one.

They will chase names that would never take the job, then panic and make a safe hire. Just like lsu.

I have to post in every Tennessee thread, I just can't help myself. My father in law, who I take to Tennessee games, says that my obsession is unhealthy, but what does he know?

I hope they hire Gruden. He will win at a rate somewhere between Dooley and Saban, but much closer to Dooley. Their recruiting classes will consistently rank in the 30's and a visit to the Citrus Bowl will be considered a crowning achievement.

UT...Please hire the guy and get it all over with.

You are such a sad little bro. I love how you guys only respond to me in these threads. Obsession is not good for your long term health.

He hasn't coached at any level in 10 years. I don't think he takes the gig, and if he does I think he will be a BIG disappointment for UT.

He coined the lil bro thing yesterday apparently. Look for him to run that into the ground just like every other idea that pops up in his hollow head lol
