No. I said Texas looked past UF. Same for Bama vs FSU.

Who was Alabama looking past FSU at?

ULM? Wisconsin?

No one knew what FSU had this year...literally no game film or tape to replicate what FSU had on the field. Plus Ty Simpson opening on the road in the rain in hostile territory

Many people still don't know what the hell FSU is this year

No I mean the ones where you post your own bets and when challenged you posted receipts. I don't mean betting with other degenerates on this site, that's flat out not allowed.

Did I do that more than once?

They were not concerned about FSU at all and it bit them in the arse. Thanks by the way. That wake up call was exactly what we needed.

I'm pretty sure it was a schtick for a few weeks, a couple years back. I enjoyed it.

Oh we all know what FSU is. A top 40 talent team that is poorly coached. You worked all offseason on Bama and didn’t study any film. Your coach is good for 1 upset a year but otherwise depends on dumb luck to win games.

eh...its a little more than that

Norvell built pretty good teams in '22 and '23. Not saying he's a genius, but he's had some success with the portal.

This year we have a new OC and new DC. The running game is good, but eventually teams are forcing FSU to throw more. Solely trying to run the ball can be 1-dimensional. Don't know why they let pass more.

It's still a team trying to figure out what it is. Pitt and Virginia were lost on turnovers and bad secondary play

Stanford should be a win, and then there's a bye...time to figure some stuff out

Anyways...

new OC

Gus is a genius but he’s lazy. He’s only going to work hard on game prep about 3 times a year. Those three games will make you think he’s on Kiffin or Sarks level as an OC. Then, the rest of the season you’ll run the same 6 players out of 10 different formations. 7 of which are terrible formations for the called play.

ya, I think you're right

Honestly, I think he's a little dated in play calling

Not sold on the 3-3-5 Dana White brought in either...

what I do know is that FSU really can't afford to kick Norvell yet. FSU needs to develop and create a good core of a team. The defense looks like 11 guys, not a team. That '23 team was built from the run the '22 team made at the end of the season.

The thing about Gus though is if you get a generational QB that can cover up his lazy play calling for the 9 games a season he doesn’t work hard he will absolutely beat the best teams on your schedule and take you on a crazy run. He is unstoppable when he’s focused.

If I had to bet money on any team making it today it would be Ole Miss.

Agreed. That’s a tough schedule if Ole Miss was in any other conference, but comparing to other SEC schools schedules, it’s weak. Lane Kiffin has no excuse to miss the playoffs this season

has a solid shot of winning out the rest of the year except for against UGA

lose to Miami for ACC - would make them 11-2

They’d likely be in
this is a really broken system if so unless the committee sticks to their word about SOS mattering. In this scenario at 11-2 GTs best win would be over Clemson. No way in hell should they make the playoff over a 10-2 SEC team. No SEC team with 10 wins should ever get left out the playoff
