The SEC Network has really messed up the quality of games I get to watch

We used to have great Thursday night games I would forward to watching. Now I don't even bother to look at who's playing.
The Saturday 11:00 AM game used to be the 3rd best game of the day. Now it's the 5th best game and usually Alabama vs Louisiana Layfayette or Florida vs. Vandy or Missouri vs South Carolina (good game, but they're not SEC blue bloods). Then you have a bunch of night games on at the same time that are good match ups while having Alabama vs some SEC scrub playing at 2:30 PM.
More is not better. Give me the days when teams were fighting for an opportunity to be on tv. I miss the 90s and early 2000s.

I think you need to go back a few more decades, By the late-90s, just about every major program in college football had 9 or 10 of their regular season games broadcast on either regional or national television. In the 1970s and early-80s, you were lucky if your team was on TV more than once.

Shut up dude. SEC teams wanted the Thursday night / random night games before the SEC Network.

Only thing I agree with you on is the loss of Thursday night games, though that was always mainly the province of the old Big East and ACC. Seems CFB has been content to let the NFL have that one, which is sad.
I don't mind the rest. It's just awesome that every game is on national TV now. We're spoiled rotten.

Who cares if you can't watch them all at once. Bama cementing the only game at 2:30 most weeks while they beat the shite out of someone is not quality.

Maybe the second tier teams did because that was the only way they could get decent exposure. But teams like Alabama never wanted them.

I mean, you can, if you really want to. I find myself content to narrow in on 2-3 games and flip back and forth if LSU isn't playing.
But if I need to watch two games at once, there are laptops, tablets, phones etc.

Not sure how many people still remember but Jefferson Pilot Sports used to put on the best broadcast for those early games

This is Week 8 and Alabama has been on CBS only once (not counting tomorrow).

Maybe CBS finally caught on, but in years past it would be Bama steamrolling teams like Arkansas or Missouri almost every week.

I've done this and it just keeps the vibe.
