dude the more I see from people, not just on this board or even on this website, but all over the internet with their playoff predictions, I'm convinced that people literally forget who makes the playoffs the day after it happens. We have a clear picture of who the committee picks, right there in black and white to see, and people ignore it. I think most people are just idiots frankly. In society in general.

Alabama will not get in with another loss. The only thing the CFP committee has been consistent on is not allowing two loss teams

that's not the "only" thing, btu I agree ti's been a factor. However, there is precedent for it to be possible looking at 2017. AU had 2 losses and was a stone cold lock for the playoffs had they beat us in the SECCG.
A 2 loss team that didn't win their conference though? Zero chance. None whatsoever. People are just so retarded with skyscreaming about a bama bias and eye tests they won't actually look and realize that neither of those exists.

Lol. A 1 loss Notre Dame? Just watch how fast the spin machine kicks into gear to talk up ND as a playoff team.
I've seen the committee pick enough to know that if it comes down to a 1 loss, Non-SEC champ UGA. Or 1-loss ND, Ohio State, or Michigan teams. UGA probably isn't going to like where they end up on that equation.
If Bama wins the SEC, Oregon wins the Pac, OSU/Mich wins the Big 10, and ND finishes with only 1 loss. There's your top 4. No doubt in my mind. UGA will gave to force their hand by going undefeated and winning the SEC to get a playoff spot.

When the season is over, they'll start talking about overall bodies of work of each teams resume.
Cincy will fall out. While ND's wins over Purdue, Wisconsin, and whiever finishes better between UVA, VT and UNC will be propped up as strong wins. Along wins over name brands like USC and FSU, even though they suck this year.
