He’s the best overall program managing/developing coach ever. What he’s done at Bama is unparalleled in the modern era.

That said, the run is over. Bama is 0-3 in its last three big games. Blown out by Clemson, beat by LSU at home and beat by a marginal Auburn team with a freshman QB.

Bama is about to lose a tremendous amount on the offense and the talent returning on defense is not the norm during this Bama run. They don’t have that Alpha, or group of Alphas, on the team.

It was an amazing run, but it’s over. No more titles for Saban at Bama.

I can't wait to see the Gumps turn on him.

Alabama went 10-3 in 2010 with arguably their most talented team.

Then followed that by winning back to back titles.

I understand wishful thinking but I also have heard “the run is over” for ten years now after every loss.

CFB has caught up to Saban and Bama. You don't have the talent advantage anymore that you had then. Saban needs a significant talent advantage to win big games now.

If he continues to coach for another 5 years I will be surprised. Nothing left to accomplish and after fits like he threw yesterday, he cant expect to live much longer in this game.

I hate Bama as much as any Tiger fan but this is just plain silly.

As long as NS is at Bama, they are a credible threat to win it all.

They had a ton of injuries on defense this year, and lost Tua (100% healthy Tua) weeks ago. I would not count out a healthy Bama on a revenge tour in 2020.

I hope you are right, though.

Saban is still recruiting at the highest level. Its time to reload again. Bama will be back next year with a bunch more first round draft picks.

If I were a Bama fan, I wouldn't believe it's over until Saban retires and someone not named Dabo takes his place.

Saban did not have Clemson and Georgia taking away talent from him, or LSU protecting its borders. That advantage is over. He’s done.

Now LSU is taking talent from him too. He will have trouble competing in the SECW now.it was inevitable.

The lack of discipline and the lack of defense should really worry the tide fans.

If he was ever going to die from throwing a fit it would have been in 2003. After losing to Bama 0-31 in BR in 2002, he came to Tuscaloosa in 2003 with the express purpose of beating Bama by the same 31-0 score. With the score 24-0 he came unglued when LSU bogged down and had to kick another FG. When Bama kicked the late FG to deny him his shutout, I thought he was going to die of a stroke right there on the sideline.
