If Missouri was still in the Big12 they would probably be relegated to G5 status if the Big12 folds. Instead they are laughing it up with Vandy at the big boy table...

I laugh at Mizzou every chance I get but Arkansas would possibly be in the same boat if we’d followed some of our fans wishes in recent years to jump to the Big 12 for easier competition. I’m glad cooler heads prevailed in our admin.

I'd say they're a huge winner just by being in a conference with teams that have crazy fertile recruiting grounds. There's enough to go around for the whole conference.

Nebraska was willing to take a lower share for several years. Mizzou wasn't and said no to the jr membership. Luckily, a better option was presented and thank god our brass weren't complete idiots and said yes to the SEC.

Mizzou also benefits from the realignment. Previously they were traveling thousands of miles to games, this will cut travel time and costs in half.

This reopens/opens further a lot of the old Big8 recruiting grounds to Mizzou. We were already making inroads there, this should accelerate that process.
