And LSU has almost NEVER had Beth Mowins announce for us. However, she's all about Arky and Texas A&M though. I feel like she's announced more A&M games than any other team.

LSU certainly wouldn’t be in that slot if it weren’t for the team they were playing. Not sure what your angle is there.
There is only one CBS Prime Time slot all year. Their 2:30 slot is their game of choice each week.

Isn’t the inverse true as well? CBS could easily pick one of Bama’s other games, yet they pick the LSU game.
