Over 10,000 home tickets were listed at $5.00 each for the ragin Cajuns

Prices are now up to $12, that’s a huge monetary gain for Texas, the rich get richer

I loved all the jokes that implied Rice was going to be the toughest Texas team Arkansas faces the first two weeks but didn't actually think it would be true

I wouldn't count Rice out. They don't have much talent, but they play smart and disciplined.

They force you to beat them rather than shoot themselves in the foot.

The head coach for Rice is in a make or break year. From reading the Rice message boards, they say that this team has a bit more talent than they had in a few years.

Exactly, our Kent State tickets were 5x the price of their ragin Cajun tickets

The Arkansas game has helped them tremendously, obviously

I’m not following the gist of this thread. You’re saying the prices went up because they lost to Arkansas?

A lot of exposure in a night game on the road versus an SEC team, it’s something they aren’t used to having

I still say that Arkansas did Texas a huge favor with that beat down. They are used to just sort of sleep walking through their season, maybe getting up for Oklahoma, maybe not. But in the Big 12 you can have a complete snoozer of a season with minimal effort and still make a nice bowl game. So they've gotten used to that.

Yeah. In the SEC if you try that you are going to get your behind handed to you. I'm not talking getting hammered into the ground by Alabama. I'm talking getting hammered into the ground by Ole Miss, Arkansas, or South Carolina. Or Vanderbilt.

If you are Texas teams are going to get up for you in the SEC. Half the conference hates you and the other half doesn't like you.
