First, generally happy for UGA fans that the 40 year streak was broken. Then, supportive of victories over the two most in your face fan bases on the site.

But reality is setting in. The prospect that UGA might be the new Bama is unsettling, so it is time to shitpost.

What a time to be alive as a Dawg fan

Look at our schedule next year. If we win it this year, there is a real chance at 3IAR.

When people snipe at you like that, you know you are good.

And when the elephant is down even an ant will kick him.

But don't count out the elephant.

This is true.

However, Bama fans said the same thing after they won the SECCG last year.

We'll see. Georgia is in good position for a real run.

Will be interesting to see who replaces Stetson and if Monken stays. Those factors should be considered before thinking 3peat.

Shouldn’t you worry about two in a row. LSU just exposed your defense with an injured guy scared to throw the ball and a backup QB who hasn’t seen action all year

We do have a Clemson grade schedule next year. It’s pretty bad.

Uncle Sanky said we couldn’t play The Chuck wagon gang.

Alabama isn’t going anywhere, & Many others look to be in the rise.

I’m just happy UGA is starting to play to the level of the advantages they’ve always had.

Well this thread really is a page right out from the Gump fan book.

“Look at me! Look at me!”

Agreed, it is possible we take a step back. But we are in a position for a nice run as of now.

I agree.

I'd just wait until you guys seal this year to start talking about 3peating unless you want to set yourselves up for a Bama-level fail next year

EDIT: I think too the offense will be interesting to see.

In theory, there are more talented qb's on your roster than Bennett. But they are not experienced. Plus Bowers is likely gone. Not sure if Washington will be there, but he can pick up some of the slack (I don't think he can fully replace what Bowers offers however). Maybe Gilbert can get on the field and play that role?

Ultimately Monken is key. Took Kirby some time to find a good OC for what he wants to do. If Monken leaves how quickly can Kirby find an adequate replacement?

There’s no guarantee UGA wins this year. In fact even as the favorite odds prob hover around 40-45%.

But the future does look good for the opportunity to contend.

that's why I said "if" we win this year. We are beatable this year if bad Stetson shows up to play.

BAMA wins 6 titles in 12 seasons. UGA wins 1 championship in 40 and, "wE'Re dUh nEw BAMA pAWl!"

You can't make this stuff up.

Yeah, we tried that in 2013, and then a ball bounced off a Georgia player's helmet, followed immediately by the kick-six.

Never know what can happen (good or bad). It's a weird game sometimes.

some might argue that with our coaching staff and a month to prepare, that's a good thing.

Thanks LSU, for pointing out our only weakness so taht we can fix it before the playoffs. Your SEC pride runs deep.

Dogs rolling no doubt. It’ll be interesting to see Vandagriff next year. He looks the part, but still has perform with championship or bust expectations on his shoulders.

I think he is probably portal bound.

Do you think Beck or Stockton would be QB1?

Kirby doesn't seem to use the portal much.

Beck most likely, with Stockton being our QB of the future.
