And after a swift kick in the arse from their size 13 combats opposing fans will have no choice but to turn back into baseball or baskets or women's softball fans. Anything but football. The awful truth is right around the corner boys so get ready to go back to screaming about cheating, and referees and moving offices around like so many deck chairs. Maybe even save for maybe some bill boards or petitions or signs and banners. Shits about to get real.

Dang Alabama fans are worried. They're obsessing over their perception at 3 am in a random day in May.

The days of Bama being at the top consistently are coming to a close. I’m not saying it’s this year or even next, but it’s coming....

That’s why you made this post your “scared” of what the future holds, and in your heart you know it’s not good.

The state of Alabama has two main religions, the Baptist church and the University of Alabama football. There is a complex duopoly between the Baptist church and the University of Alabama football. The former strives for redemption and a better afterlife while the later uses football success as a substitute for a lack of personal acknowledgement and respect. Indeed Alabama football acts as an impediment to social and economic progress in the rural South and particularly in Alabama. In other words, as long as Bama football is winning then their zealot fans feel no obligation to change. Somehow this "success" vindicates their forebears who suffered Dantean hardships and loss of honor and their own feelings of inferiority.

After being exposed by Dabo I believe Saban will still win his share so 7-5 sounds about right

This isn't Gus Bus we're talking about.

The last time Saban went 7-6, Gus was OC at Tulsa and Cam Newton hadn't been kicked out of Florida yet because he was four months out of HS.

Oh I do have concerns about Georgia. They are recruiting better than anyone in America and have the best roster in the country. They are on absolute cruise control with that EAST schedule and have an Alabama session every week during their anticipated one game season. But it being UGA you've got to assume they'll throw up on themselves in a tight game due to the inherent rot in the program that even that great coaching staff can't fully cover up.

Make that three when you include the 30 some percent of you Auburn fans. For you in particular it is an absolute focus with a queer kind of obsession on your perceived inferiority. The absolute red headed step child kind you experience every moment of every day of your life when you realize that the University exists. (And you, little man, know which university I am referring too.)

It's sad since you are in a state of self exile which colors your thoughts and actions. Similar to a certain religious extremism there is no cure except your ultimate demise like others who suffered that same psychosis. I sometimes wonder if you afflicted would get up each day and confront your demons by saying "ROLL TIDE" five times. And then repeat "It's Just Football" five more. Followed by "I Am Somebody" that maybe that simple self affirmation would help you realize that it is just a damn game. Have a nice day Woodrow, you need one.
