Has Mississippi State’s head coach ever have to hide in a janitor’s closet at an NFL draft?

Don't forget their 17-23 record since Mullen left. Good lord that always brings the heat when I mention it.

The prestigious history of OLE MISS athletics

Ole Miss mens never been to a mens Final-4 (unlike Miss State)

Ole Miss women's never been to Final-4 ( Unlike Miss State )

Ole Miss football never been to Atlanta ( unlike Miss State)

Ole Miss Baseball never done squat (Unlike Miss State)
PS OMAHA still stands for Ole Miss At Home Again

Ole Miss simply fails in comparison in athletics and will forever be seen as Little Brother

*Ole Miss fans will now get crazy knowing the above is 100% true and start that big lie that they have 3 nattys in football when nobody but them thinks so. The NCAA does not recognize them, the AP does not recognize them, the Coaches polls does not recpgnize them and neither does Football Archive.

Bow down to your daddy

Actually on the field our record is approximately 598-580-41.

The 21 forfeits (19 wins and 2 ties) from 1975-1977 skew the record some. I also counted the 1993 Bama forfeit game as a loss. The forfeits were because a football player received a discount at a local clothing store in Starkville that was available to all students. Seems a bit benign compared the NIL stuff going on today.

The State-Ole Miss on the field record is 63-48-6 in favor of Ole Miss. Ole Miss was 21-2-4 against State from 1947-1973 which basically accounts for the lead they have in the series. Other wise it has been about .500 give or take outside that era.,

Allyn McKeen is the winningest coach in State history with a 65-19-3 record from 1939-1948 including the 1941 SEC championship.

So yes we have endured a lot of losing especially in the 1950’s, 1960’s, mid-late 1980’s, 2001-2008.

However since 2009 we have been a competitive program and have held our own against everybody not named Alabama.

And that’s the truth. Every State fan knows it. The past has nothing to do with whether or not we bust you in your stupid mouth right now, in about an hour.

The on the field record is 25-23 since Mullen left. All these forfeits, vacates are completely ridiculous because the NAZI’s (umm I mean the NC2A) is so inconsistent in how they apply their policies that they are a joke.

If everyone was treated the same that would be one thing but they are so heavy handed with some schools and then totally ignore others. They have no credibility.

Actually, the NCAA does recognize 1960. But don't take my word for it, take theirs....

the NCAA will list every selector it chose for the year. That doesn’t mean said team is the universally recognized national champion for that season. The standard has always been AP and UPI. Ole Miss falls short.
